      A later update, the arm that holds it broke, idk if the TV was too heavy or if it just was defective, but the way it broke I can't fix it or reinforce it. I will reinforce it on my next volvo, but the part that broke is the frame for the entire framework for the cabinets on that side of the truck. I'll post a video on how to reinforce it when I do it on my next truck

    It’s crazy because I’m about to get this exact tv. It’s the only TV that’s 4k at the 32 inch size. I was about to buy a freightliner, but now I’ll be getting a Volvo and wanted to see if someone had broken the rules and put a 32 inch in one lol. Thanks for the video

      You're welcome, I think someone else did before me or I might not have bought this overpriced TV, but knowing me I would have anyway and if it didn't work I'd have given it away.

    How has this went for you while not using those metal things with the loops for the corners?

    • @MattManduke
      @MattManduke 2 года назад +2

      It shakes a little bit but the screws don't loosen, and 6 months later it's still working great

      @@MattManduke thanks! I’m thinking about getting a monitor instead of tv so i can get 4K. Hopefully it don’t break. Stay safe out there driver

      How did you mount tv with 4m screws if tv requires M6 screws?

    I bought the same tv and everyone keeps bugging me about it breaking off so have you had any secure issue or sign of wear

      I'm thinking some sheet metal from a hardware store, trimmed to fit around the arm, and bolted into place

    Are you able to fit the screen into the cubby without removing the framework?
    I’ve got a 24 in mine right now but I’m looking at switching to a Smart TV & 24 is the same price as a 32 but as far as height measurements I’m seeing about 16.5” top to bottom in the cubby with the framework & 32s are 17-18” so slightly bigger
    It looks like a 32 is too big to fit without removing the framework and I’ll have to do a 24 in that case but I’m wondering if it would fit with the arm closed and tv inside the cubby

      No the screen is bigger than the cubby, you would have to tilt it out in order to get in the cubby and tilt it the other way to get into the cabinet above the jump seat

      @@MattManduke that’s what I thought, thank you.
      Samsung has a 32” Smart Monitor now as well that dimensionally, is just a tad too big to fit the cubby, it’s 16.71” tall, the cubby appears to be about 16 & a 1/4” or so, if you used a 27” computer monitor it would fit but it looks like if I do commit I’ll end up going with a 24” smart tv I didn’t wanna go with, Samsungs smart monitors are awesome on paper but the reviews are terrible so it must be a first generation product
