I understand better why the sound is so smooth in your videos. I can push the volume to max without distortion. What i can't do on most RUclips videos. 👍🏾

So they ditched the separate tube externals poeer supply they had with the older versions as a upgrafe? Always been curious about these units ever since version one came out years ago. Would the gsx mini amp be a step up from this unit as far as the amp section? Thanks!
@@ABYSSHeadphones this stance is why I'm hesitant to give your headphones a chance. Why are DCA, ZMF, audeze, and Meze all able to perform well with state of the art solid states but your headphones can't handle them and need decades old technology to perform well?

You can count on one hand the amps we at Abyss like. Show us an established company that makes a tubed based, one box solution at the price point of the WA7 that ticks all our boxes and we’ll be just as excited to talk about it.
Thank you for all of you for putting your thoughts on the screen! The video is beautifully produced.
Going forward, can we squeeze in another chair for DMS? Thanks! :-)
Got confused a bit there hearing DMS’ voice first 🤣
Can’t wait to try the new WA7 as well.

Im so hyped to try it for myself!
I love you guys. this is an outstanding channel
LOVE the WA7's. I've owned them a few times and they're beautiful (looking and sounding)
Haven't had the opportunity to hear them, but love the aesthetic
Really considering entering the hifi world with this amp and a pair of V2s... but damn those student loans lol
You can go hifi without spending thousands start alot smaller and pay off those loans my guy

Have you tried the Linear Tube Audio MICROZOTL MZ2 amp? Similar spec and price. Would love to know your thoughts on how they compare.
Great video!
responds to power cords... LMAO.
hes way too high lol

I’d love to know the same thing!
The external power supply is now integrated
I love DMS, he needs to be in more of these videos.
thanks for your information. It helps~~ Can I ask just one question? What is the name of your RE20 shock mount?
Now tune the 1266 in a non weird way to actually maximise the potential of that driver
There are reasons for the way the 1266 is designed... ruclips.net/video/klazMiy6ORk/видео.html
I’d like to see a solid v tube showdown between this and the Violectic DHA 226
Both about the same coin, both all-in-ones..
Would these be a good match with the Sennheisers HD800s? Planning on getting those headphones, just not sure which amp/dac to pair them with.
DMS on the mic is nice
Did you A/B this against a decent solid state stack? Is there a perceivable difference?
Everything has a unique signature.
I have the 2nd gen version. Love it,probably will never sell it.
I am looking for something with wide sound stage and airy, neutral sound with a very slight tendency to be warm. Do you think it applies?
lately there are so many great stuff coming out and I ain't got no money 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Will the WA7 Gen3 be enough to properly drive Hifiman he1000 V2 headphones?
pretty sure they can drive almost anything
So I'm guessing to wa11 is better?
Is it safe to hook up to a hybrid Classe Brand power amp? ( hybrid class D )
You guys should try out the Topping A90 with your headphones. I feel like it would perform well.
We did, it’s not our cup of tea.
Why buy an expensive Chinese op amp? If I want something similar I'd go for smsl sp200 lol

Does this still have the optional external psu?
Linear power supply is built-in
Will this run the Elex and 660s well? I have those but want to upgrade my electronics and eventually get the Diana TC
I have first Gen Wa7D and can confirm it pairs very well with 660s
Do they make their own tubes or na? Seems like an oem product with an oem dac. I don't get it?
Electronics manufacturers don't make tubes.
I just bought the LCD-X (2021) Would amp this be suitable for for a planar like that? with it's super low impedance of 20ohms?
Suggest to contact Woo Audio on these sort of questions.
Hope to see a review on DMS' channel too
Is DMS referring to the ESS SABRE DAC as "Sabra"? (It's easy to do when you just see it written down.)
More likely they are talking about the Sagra DAC
for comparative purposes we hooked the WA7 up to a Sagra R2R DAC.
do you think this is going to pair well with focal clear mg?
We're told WA8 is best for these.
Greetings guys, what do you think the glass surounding does reduce the tube lifespan, because of limited heat disperzion?
It's mass actually moderates the tubes temperature.
Wooow. This sounds interesting.
A Drop version would be great.
Drop is basically a dumpster of unwanted overpriced products at this point.
@@allansh828 The WA7 Duo was on Drop. It "sold through" so I wouldn't say it's unwanted.

No, only Diana V2, runs near the top of its volume control for TC.
