Thank you for your service. I don’t know about Israel, but in most of the world we have these machines. We put in dirty items like a stripped down plate carrier and some soap. Then the machine washes and rinses it for us. I do agree about air drying. Anyway, I’m glad you got through your tour of duty unharmed (so far) and we’re praying for you every day.

Great break down on the cleaning. Out of pure curiosity, if one were to use a washing machine, on a "delicates cycle" and on warm, what concerns would there be compared to the "tub and scrub" method?
Ive honestly washed all my issued plate carriers in the wash, delicate, and on warm. Put in the dryer on Air/or no heat, with a dryer sheet, and shes ready to go again. Ive done it for 5 carriers, once every 2 weeks, for 11years. And i also do it to my k19 and kzero which i wear alot for duty too. NEVER had an issue

@@ZeonsZone the only company i tested that on was tacticon armament. Their threads or something make them appear quite easy. They have nice stuff but their signature comes up on NODs. As far as what i use to wash, i use a sensitive skin fragrance free detergent. Same with the dryer sheet. I usually stick with one brand for both like TIDE, or GAIN. Or ALL. Never had an issue with popping up on NODs.

I have a behind the driver chair storage unit in my car, and I have 10 CAT 7s...and still wonder if I should add more... For soaking, DAWN liquid is good (or ZOTE soap is also good) and a soft brush works. They have been washing cothes like that for hundreds of years. I would hang it out in a hot sun and also let the UV Rays also clean and kill bacteria. Modern tumble dryers don't do as well killing bacteria on cloths as does a simple outdoor clothes line.
Lev should do a "day in the Life of Lev" video. Showing his workout routine, the work he does at Agilite, and his after-work activities. Definitely should try to meet some of the beautiful female IDF Soldiers and ask them out. He will probably get slapped and then an epic Krav Maga fight would ensue. Good times!
dana is the No1 everything cleaner car soap dish soap shower gel shampoo tooth paste everything in war times you'll run out if head and shoulders eventually but there is enough dana to clean earth twice so you're good : ))
Former RGR RGT guy......us off post guys would take our RBA to a DIY car wash, laundry det. medium stiffness bristle brush. Done in 10-15 tops. Or a buddy's pressure washer. Fister' SUA SPONTE'

My Nikes survive 60 celsius cotton cycle in a washing machine so I assume a quality plate carrier should also do

The soap made for buoyancy compensators works well too. No harsh chemicals or scent and its antimicrobial.
