She plays like an accurate machine especially for Bach pieces. (Its not a disregard. I believe that the true catharsis comes firstly from accuracy, and the emotional expression is secondary. A Playing full of romantic expressions without accuracy is nothing but a bullshit)
Elisa Castro she is not an individual artist.... One out of a dozen... Come to Hungary, you can find one like her in every corner block. She is untalented
@@arisztidbaranyi2047 she is untalented? You can't be serious, or you actually can't hear properly, which is bad for you. Her technical abilities are amazing.
The tempo only emphasize music phrases, all of them sound very clear and colored. All other performances sound like sleepy flies. This performance is very similar to Perelman one
Thinking about the fact that Hilary Hahn is the only person on the cover, but these are double concertos. Strange marketing. I'd be offended as a second violinplayer. Deutsche gramophon...
@@kevinlong652 the second violinist (as one can find in the video description) is Margaret Batjer. The reason why only Hillary Hahn is featured on the CD cover is because it's her album where she played three Bach concertos (1041, 1042, 1043 only the last of which being a double concerto). Shes the world class soloist. Margaret Batjer is in this case only the person who filled in... But I think atleast an honorary mention on the cover would have been nice...
Sorry to ask that but is this the original recording from the CD or was edited? The 432 Hz is slightly weird and also I find the version in Hilary Hahn's channel to be 440Hz. Tho I like baroque tuning and prefer 415 Hz 😆
@@donlefkowitz8539 Thank you 🙂 Hilary’s playing stands out more obviously coz she’s the main soloist for the recording but kudos to that person for being brilliant too.
I really love the Hahn solo violon Bach playing but here she failed.
The tempo is much to fast, it doesn´t make joy to hear such reproduction ! ! It seames like gelled down. Sometimes i think that the producers try to comprime the recording to get enough place for other pieces, but that´s no solution ! ! BUT : Less is more ! I think that such good interpretators like hilary hahn normally play with perfect tempo , see other pieces, for example BWV 1041 or 1042.
It's really depends on the taste. Hilary Hahn's version is considered one of the best interpretations in the world, and by most - this is best "faster" version that you can find on the you tube. There is slower version available also magnificant, performed by fist violinist Shunske Sato and Netherlands Bach Society, but some passages sounds different, and I prefer this version. I should mention that we will never know true tempo as Bach specialists were able to reconstruct it from the harpsichord version.
Nothing but wonderful art from Bach and those one played him in such a beautiful way
Awesome, Hilary Hahn, you do such a wonderful job with this, the music is splendid
She sounds like heaven!
Delightful to my ears!
Please never delete this record.
Download it before.😊
@@daniloapostolov-dacatv1536 I don't know how))))) sorry

고세종 fucking stupidness you say... This is the reason why artists nowadays equal to trash.. No individuality.... Hahn is one them, unfortunately
Stupid is to say that Hahn's music is trash...

Bach doesn't need expression
I don't mind the tempo of the 1st movement because the glorious largo isn't too fast .
The tempo only emphasize music phrases, all of them sound very clear and colored. All other performances sound like sleepy flies. This performance is very similar to Perelman one
Do you mean the one Perlman did with Stern, Mehta and NYPhil? The first mvt. is much slower in that one.

Strange marketing. I'd be offended as a second violinplayer. Deutsche gramophon...
She probably played both violins and someone did some video editing to stitch it together

This one’s quick! But I like it that way.
That's what she said, she didn't want to be late for rehearsal.

my ringing for some time to survive, JSB for Religion
How about that bass...wow
God said Let hilary be and all was light
Bravo! I wonder who the second soloist is…?
Margaret Batjer, she is the Concertmaster for the LA Chamber Orchestra and was an in demand soloist earlier in her career.

Manchmal haben es Musiker sehr eilig !
Ob das JSB so hastig wollte !
(Die klangliche Entschädigung kommt zum Glück im 2. Satz.)
Who knows what JSB "wollte"? Don't pretend that you know what he wanted any better than the rest of humanity does.
Mir gefällt es auch mit Tempo
slightly fast
432 is better on baroque
+hi
