This is awesome, the website section in cp2.0 was huge help for me getting head around it and sorting my tank out when it went live, this a great follow up. Thank you
Of all the years I've played MMOs I've always been dps.. or dps/support.. but nvr heals or tank.. so this helped alot, because since eso, I really want to learn to utilize all roles.. so this helped and taught me quite a bit thanks for the video 😉 I'll definitely be back for my new tanky tank.. kudos!!
Super helpful especially after the whole changes. I was kinda upset after being a tank so many years but this gave me a chance and just put in what I could. I did notice some skills you advised costed less when I just did it so excellent timing being CP 901 now.
Update: might not want to slot it in vSCP. When you have to get in the ice circles on the first boss, it'll automatically break you free, and then you die quite comically 😂
Mates, I celebrate your vidz! You even bring me to writing notes for my gameplay while I am watching your vidz. Are you also doing Video guides to the separate dungeons? Have to look!
I would ditch Bulwark and slot last stand if your more advanced. That extra resistance while blocking is negligible(since damage mitigation has diminishing returns) close to nothing. You can tank direct damage with zero resistance if your block mitigation is very high, which it should. If you want more resistance, for non blockable aoe damage major evasion give far more resistances equivalence. If you have a healer, you can get low use 2 balances( mages guild) and proc last stand. It's actually very easy to do if you can predict heavy attacks from mechanics. The benefit is having 2 ultimate regen a sec more , 90% of the time for war horn, or any ultimate you want.
Noob here ! How did you get that purple guy to pop up on screen ? I see the blue the warefare one but no purple. Thanks for the videos though. Really helps me.
Is stage four vampire tank viable? I tried tanking with and without stage for vampirism and I honestly feel tankier with it. The 30% damage reduction is great as is the reduced stamina for sprinting. I make up for the loss of life regen with crimson or leeching.
I would never dream of Tanking using Stage 4 Vampire personally. The biggest problem is the fact that all of your skills are increased in cost by 12% and any benefit you gain by being a Vampire is completely negated by that fact alone. At this point in my ESO journey I have tanked every piece of content on Veteran and Hardmode and never once needed the Undeath passive - I have made use of it in the past some years ago when Vampire was more of an attractive choice but even then I didn't notice any difference between having it or not. Is it viable? Well everything in the game is viable depending on the situation, how you set it up and what your objective is. Is it good for a Tank? Defiantly not 🙂
The un death passive only really gets powerful when you are lowww health. so while u would be getting some mitigation as a tank, most tanks try to stay closer to max health. If u find your health is low frequently vamp could be a fix. But remember fire bad
on my dk i like to run both shield passive together just to make my shield better and let it cost less for i can spam it more and since i’m a imperial it’s already cheaper so i can sustain my stamina way better without have to have attack that often
Sure, you can do that. Personally I just don't like using up 2 slottable on Shield passives. Recovery is essential and then Resistance CP reduces the damage you take so that's worth having. Then Boundless Vitality adds both extra health and it also increases your Igneous Shield so personally I would prefer that than take Bastion which only increases the Shield.
@@TheTankClub aaaah okay i’ll use the health one then and and keep the one that just makes my shield cheaper because using EC and the set up from your last video i can spam my shield about 9 times if needed and doing a lot of hard content having being able to spam it more actually has help me a lot with not having to let go of block only when actually needed to

Tankaholic... and I love it! Awesome info as always 👍
I really enjoy the 10% cost reduction (+ 6% from empirical as well) of shields especially on dk. And every use gives u 900stam just so good
Finally someone shouting out Slippery, my favorite slottable. Especially on console, because sometimes ESO is gonna ESO 😂

My man ♂️ you deserve a cookie 🍪 ...... Great 👍
Nice! Been waiting for this!
I mainly want to take Bastion because I want to capitalize off of the free damage shield gained from the frost staff heavy attacks
Spirit Mastery can be useful when you are in a vet dlc dungeon pug, when the group is being killed around you, but I try not to be in such situations

I'm working on guides but it takes a long time to produce a video & written guide unfortunately!
hey mate you got an alternative set to Powerful Assault with the master weapons?
because it must can "proc" right?

How in the heck do you reset your cp points with the new system using a controller ? There is no resdistribute button on my screen ?
what is the max DAMAGE REDUCTION ??? if i have 33k res its 50% STACK the 10%dps reduktion with the amor RESITENCE ??????
Noob here ! How did you get that purple guy to pop up on screen ? I see the blue the warefare one but no purple. Thanks for the videos though. Really helps me.
Those purple CP areas are inside the Red and Blue CP areas - you have to press on them to go into them more.
