Sir thank you very much I am just learning how to do this and that looks easy enough for me to make a wrap for my friend. Thank you very very much and have a great day and God bless you
I am going to make a scarf with this stitch. My sister asked for a scarf in the crocheted arrow stitch, but I don't like working the front posts and trying to deal with the right number of stitches I may or may not have correctly skipped. This is just as beautiful, thank you for taking the time to show us!
Hi. Fiber Spider. 😊 i really like tunisian crochet, i have never tried this particular stitch but i like the pattern it creates.😊 thanks for showing, i think i will make a scarf,😮 with this stitch. It also looks to work up fairly quickly, i will use my 5.5 or 6mm tunisian hook, i hope that will give me the desired look im looking for. Have a great day See you on the tube. 😊😊😊
Hi FS! This is a really pretty stitch and looks quite fun to do. Agree with you loose stitching is best with Tunisian crochet! I have a pocket shawl pattern that I'll be making for my sister for the holidays! I appreciate you sharing this tutorial 😊 Have a wonderful weekend! 🧶🧶💚💚🧶🧶
Very pretty. My 4 yr old granddaughter is in desperate need of a blanket. She has two grandmothers that crochet everyday, she has multiple blankets…but, one more can’t hurt!😃
I love this version of Tunisian crochet. I have made many baby blankets with the regular Tunisian stitch. Is there a way to make shapes, such as a triangular or even a pie-wedge shawl? Tunisian is so much fun! Thanka, Craig!
Im going to use my new tunisian hooks ive had for a couple of years now and make a baby blanket for my new grandson. I need to get on it! He will arrive in mid October but im kind of pokey!! I want to border it with an elephant stitch border.
i like this stitch. i used it for a poncho a few years ago and alternated it with rows if the TSS. when you do your starting chain, do you use a regular crochet hook and then switch or do you begin with the tunisian hook. i find the longer hook annoying. but i think i am just being weird. thanks for the tutorial. i saved it for a future project. ❤
Thank you for the lovely clear instructions I can't wait to give it a try How much bigger do you recommend the hooks should be in mm please? you gave it in the US sizing and I couldn't get it sorry
Yes with Tunisian crochet you get really pretty sides: V's. But you have to pick up two loops at the end of the row as shown. You can easily join long strips by sewing or crocheting.

I've never tried tunisian crochet, so this is interesting... And pretty!
Fiber Spider, You are THE BEST teacher! TY ❤️ 🧶
I like the ease of the pattern repeats and have new tunisian hooks. Maybe a stole/rectangular shawl in a lighter weight yarn.
Nice stitch, very decorative. You make it look so simple. Nice for baby blanket or sweater.

Hello there Craig , hope you are having a pleasant day ❤
Thanks, I like this arrowhead stitch especially with an ombré yarn.

Tyvm 😊 foe making this easy to understand and do.😊❤
I've attempted Tunisian crochet in the past with not good results. But after watching this I may give it another try. Fingers crossed 🤞
Exactly what the doctor ordered, Yay Fun 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤

Lovely! 😍
This is a great stitch. Thanks for sharing. Thought you were giving up the caffeine ? Hope you do so soon. The best to you.
@lyndaholloway5469 thank you. Actually it was specifically soda that I've been giving up - coffee and tea are still up for grabs lol
Really beautiful stitch❗Do you feel that it eats up a lot of yarn❓It has the look of a 'thermal stitch'.....Very thick looking.

At least 1 mm bigger if not 2 than you usually would use with that weight of yarn.
Can you join panels of these for an afghan?
