This is so different from anything else I've seen. I love the texture of the waffle stitch, but always viewed it as pretty restrictive. Wow, was I wrong! Thank you. This must have taken so many trial and error turns.

This blanket has crazy awesome texture. I tested using 2 Caron 1 Pounds to create a baby throw. It is a yarn eater.

Wow yeah, I'm using the one pound atm. I would imagine it would make for a heavy blanket, depending how big you go.

Hi Craig! Wow, what an awesome new wavy waffle stitch. You are the first person I chose to learn how to do the waffle stitch a couple years ago, using your beanie tutorial of the waffle stitch. Thanks so much for sharing all your talents. It is great to let everyone know ahead of time about it being a yarn eater, but the yarn you chose looks perfect and I love the color. thanks again for all you do!

Could you please take a measurement of the first 23 stitches once the pattern is worked up? If I know how wide the first pattern is, I can then decide how many groups of 23 stitches I need. Hope this makes sense! Love the pattern! I love all of your patterns! 🥰

    • @Scorpio_Love_11

You should do a swatch as he suggested because your tension will most likely be different from his so even if he did measure his the measurements of his will not tell you what you will need for a specific size with your personal tension

I enjoy your tutorials so much and have learned a lot. I have a question about the waffle stitch you’re using in this pattern. In your other waffle stitch videos, I don’t think you used BPDCs. If you didn’t, will following your instructions for the waffle stitch in your other videos work in this pattern? I don’t think I can handle all of the BPDCs and I really like this pattern.
