It's sad to see all of this hate for Katie when it's not really justified. I've followed Katie's boxing career in the last few years and she seems like a genuinely nice and humble person. She doesn't make the decision, the judges do, and she's not going to turn around and say Persoon won the fight, that just doesn't happen in boxing. She's already done a lot for women's boxing, and I wish her all the best for the rematch.
I would have been in agreement with you since she doesn't make the decision... but now she is giving everyone a reason to HATE. Post fight she "wanted" to run it back, now she wants to move on to Serrano (who is also a quality fighter, but ITS NOT THE TIME.) Katie's voice is normal here,not used to not hearing that warble, my relative used to also have,so it is an endearing thing to me. But anyway what a champion she is,in every way,she stays humble too,and is so soft spoken out the ring,and such a warrior in it,thought she won last fight by a round or two,but fought the wrong fight for much of it,should've done what she did in part's allow Persoon to swing for the moon,then slip it,and punish her quickly slipping off right/left after, which is far less demanding on her,and will break the will of Persoon as she continues to miss,and get tagged,which eventually she will have to stop trying (which is basically a bum rush,and wild swinging,but with a good engine,and heart) or continue to do, and look completely foolish by the end. This was the extremely clear lesson from the last fight,and now KT knows it.

Katie had a lot of the early rounds and then just go and watch rd 9 and you will see that it was one of Katie's best rounds. The most rds you could of given persoon was 4 and that's been pushing it, as I believe rd 2, 7 and 10 were clear as day that she won. The cold hard truth is, there's an anti European attitude in the US and South America, because they have been so dominant in the sport. Loma has been the top dog in boxing and there seems to be a reluctants to give him his props over the last 2 years.
