I think its bcs of the Spectral Sickle passive whenever he dmg he get 20gold plus 2g per 10s and the reward for upgrading the item to Harrowing Crescente giving him 500g cuz he couldnt farm well top, was roaming a lot. Like an economic sustain or smth
