- Every spring we have numerous Baltimore Orioles nesting around our property. With the cold, raw weather this spring, they have really been devouring in the oranges! This was shot on a Blackmagic URSA Mini 4.6k with an FD 300mm f/4 L lens. © 2017 Garth McElroy - www.mcelroyproductions.com
Beautiful video!
I love watching the Hooded Orioles that come to our feeders. Besides oranges, they love grape jelly.
I have been watching this video since I first discovered it in the fall of 2013. it even helped me to identify a bird that I have only heard, but never seen, since the early 1960's. It turned out to be a Hermit Thrush. Since I was a young girl, I would only here it at dusk here in WA. state. They are rarely seen, but I have been in love with their beautiful call since I first remember hearing one, about the age of 5. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you both have dedicated your lives to doing!

I love watching this Oriole drink it's morning oj. I also love hearing the bird in the background. Thank you for all your video's Jim. I first discovered your video's in 2014, and they actually helped me to identify a bird I have only heard, since I was a small child in the early 60's. That bird is the Hermit Thrush! It's among my favorite bird's since childhood!
I just put out my oriole feeders in southern Maine. Is it too early? I don't want to miss them since last year I didn't react in time.
GREAT VIDEO, LIGHTING & CONTRAST
What is the bird in the background? Anyone?
What is the bird singing in the background please? I've heard it all my life, here in western Washington state.
Chickadee
It’s a few Cardinals singing back to each other
