  • An algae-ridden bunch of Anubias was placed into a planted community fish tank. Some of the denizens are well-known for eating algae such as the Crossochelus spp., kribensis cichlid and swordtail fish.

Outstanding! I can't believe they cleaned it all up in one day.

Something that small wouldn't event last a day. I placed the Anubias late at night and it was cleaned off by the following morning. I just had to wait for the evening so that the glare from the surrounding aren't present and I can take cleaner videos.

they're Cyprinids like most of your fish and they'll blend with your Roseline barbs.

the SAE keep hair algae from growing in my tanks so I wouldn't have known they eat algae if I hadn't intentionally placed the algae in the aquarium. RUclips community and websites advertise them too much as predators. A little searching around immediately tells that they're actually good at feeding on algae.
