That may be correct. Plus, she has literally everyone in her corner. Listen to the commentators at each of her matches; you'd think she was fighting air. They mostly ignore her opponents and focus on their girl. But right now, there may be next to no one that is truly good competition for Ditcheva. Now, if Bullet was 10-years younger, that would be a match worth paying to see.

Joe knows best it will not happen until he gets her in the UFC as he already knows the outcome, Can’t have PFL who go out and find young talent and brings it on beat up the UFC who just buy it in when they finely notice it. To late for this one Joe you are going to have to sacrifice your best in a cross division match ups.

4:55 "You very rarely see the Thai clinch in MMA..." No disrespect to this commentator -- he probably knows way more than I do -- but haven't we seen an enormous number of Thai clinches in MMA over the years? It caused a sensation when it first appeared, it was such a powerful move. I believe this weapon is now in the arsenals of many fighters. Right? Or am I exaggerating it?
Maybe the guy's just referring to this particular league...or just the women's division.

So that's Dan Hardy, former UFC Welterweight title challenger. Been an analyst for many many years, and I would say that he more means that the Thai Clinch is very rarely EFFECTIVELY used in MMA in this day and age. Yes, people have attempted to use the Thai clinch quite a bit, but hardly anyone effectively uses it to deal massive damage. When it is done, its a one off type of deal, but few fighters lean heavily on the Thai Clinch like she does. The other fighter he mentioned, Anderson Silva, early in his UFC career smashed several people, including the person he won the belt off, almost purely in the Thai Clinch. And even then, that was before ppl really saw it used much, so it was not something many ppl were prepared for. Nowadays, very few ppl are doing that kind of damage from the clinch so reliably. It's no longer a 'go to' move, as Dakota seems to use it quite frequently and to great effect. She uses it almost every fight and does some good work while in it. So I definitely can understand the confusion.

Muay Thai is very dangerous. Kick a Wing Chun or basic Karate practioners Arse. Be careful of a decent pro boxer though

@SchizoAction Even still, how does a person with a record that small even enter a tournament with someone that was 9-0 (at that time)?
Seems like they're just setting themselves up for one-sided bouts like this when any random person can compete.

@ I think womens mma has really taken a downturn as far as interest goes. There’s just not alot of competition out there that match the skill level of someone like Dakota. She really is on a level all her own. Hopefully PFL can find someone that can challenge her for this next season. Otherwise, it’ll just be whoever has the courage to get in the ring with her.
