Cleaning Our Horses Teeth: Teeth Floating

Our horses get their teeth "floated" for the benefit of their comfort. Teeth floating is a process that involves grinding down the sharp points of teeth which prevents scrapes and cuts on their tongue and mouth as well as infections.
Rochen Heers and Raymond Long, owners of Redrock Equine Dentistry, were nice enough to share the details behind the process in this video and do an outstanding job taking care of our horses. In addition to floating our horses teeth in this video, they also explain how and why wolf teeth are removed.
