As a mother of a daughter with Down Syndrome I want to personally thank you for all your work. I could not have raised her without all the school staff. We also lived all the difficulties of dealing with all the red tape in a school. We attended many school board meetings in order for our kids to receive what they had a right to. You are young and something new came into your life.
It is ok, no pasa nada. 😃 sigue adelante y que Dios me los llene de bendiciones. You will always be blessed because of your work with special children. Don’t forget to go back and visit them please 🥰💐

Adriana, I did the same thing this year. I quit my job because of how I was being treated but I was very worried about insurance and the benefits as well because I had really good benefits. But I took the risk and without having another job on the line because my husband me apoyo. Today I went to an interview so I’m hoping I get the job because this job will allow me to have so much more quality time with my family. Something I was barely able to have at my other job. Good luck on everything! ❤️

You made me cry! 🥺 I also work for a school district but I didn't go to college to work as an educator but after working there I have so much more respect for teachers, it's extremely overwhelming. The thought of being off when kids are off was my dream job kinda but it's been definitely hard financially because this type of job doesn't pay well and it's a huge responsibility. I've thought of quitting so many times but then I think about the kinders and I can't leave them. I just pray for strength & that I'm doing the correct thing. Love you both!

For some reason I found this video I've been working in education for the past 14 years and I find myself making a really hard decision at this time too on whether or not I should go back next year and I have to say that it's so true that I have this fear of even telling my parents because I'm a grown ass woman 2 and the first thing that they worry about is my benefits and my insurance but I also feel like it shouldn't be the only reason that I should stay I know these past two years have been really difficult both mentally and emotionally and many great educators have left. Thank you very much for speaking on this

Adriana, do you think maybe you were feeling like you were letting your family or yourself down? After going to school and working your butt off for your degree it’s only natural to feel this way I would think… but then on the other side you have other great thing awaiting and you’re ALSO good at ! Great actually .
Special Education is your passion but your mental well-being is your or should be your #1 priority .
Your kiddos will always remember you .
Thanks for sharing with us opening up and being vulnerable . Wish you the best of luck!!!

I can relate so much. I left my job of 4 years. The last year I was miserable. Out of fear of what will people think or what would be next I stayed. I realized leaving my job doesn't mean I'm a failure. It started affecting my relationship me as a mom as daughter. Overall I was unhappy everyday I walked in that door I was unhappy. I decided to leave to be happy. It was horrible at first due to the behavior I was use to from my ex boss I almost felt on edge bc she was a micromanager until I realized that part of my life is over. Sending you the best if luck adri on this new journey!

I loved my job but I end up leaving because it was not pay enough for my bills and I decided I wanted to become a teacher and go to school full time. So I basically waited at the end of the year and told them I was not coming back next school year I was so upset the last week of school. I cried and the kids were so sweet and nice it hard for me sometimes because I want go back but it’s just bad paying job the job itself it’s rewarding and I love it tbh 💕

Adrianna, I can see why you were so emotional about telling your Dad you quit your job. There was a blueprint you created based off your Dad’s opinion about your life and what your career should look like. This will be the same emotions you will feel again sometime later in your life. These are growing pain moments. Take the time you need to heal this specific moment. It’s okay. Don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. The fact that you can express your tears is a form of letting go. Releasing the past and creating new memories.

You are brave .May god continue to bless your path. I am so proud of you Adriana. I work in a school setting and I am very familiar with working with sped. It’s tough and it’s definitely hard to leave when we build bonds. If our jobs our not fulfilling us we have to move on. I hope to learn from you and just know we support you. Love you❤️

Hello Adriana, I’m so proud of you! You made me cry!🥺 i wish you the best! I hope one day I get to meet you! I’ve met your parents without even knowing they were your parents!! This must sound crazy, but your parents are my patients at Kaiser and one day watching your videos I recognized your dad! So if ever you or your parents need anything such as sooner appts or anything like that let me know, I can always try to help!! Luv you guys 😘

Aww girl I feel that when you said you couldn’t tell your dad. I recently quit my job too so I can be a full time college student, almost done! But I’ve always worked in the hospital and I can tell he liked that I worked there and I didn’t know how to tell him lol my husband luckily has my back and convinced me to just finish school. It’s so hard I’m 30! And I still care what my parents think. ❤️ it’s still not easy I’m so use to working and this is a lot of work too! And I’m a mom of 2 also. I miss work but need to think of the long run!

Adriana como maestra también I get you for sure! It is sad to leave them, but if this is the best for you, you have to put yourself first too so proud of you que hicistes eso! I mean who knows maybe later if you truly miss it more you can do part time tutoring etc

Hola Hola a mi pareja favorita 💕 ♥
Adriana you are super BRAVE and admire your courage. I'm literally going through this right now. My husband and I have been in the Glass business for a few years and gracias a Dios are growing stronger, to the point where I may need to quit my 2nd job because I'm like mentally drained and overwhelmed. I'm like I can't do this anymore.. we have 4 children and now that they are older I'm super busy with them with activities, appointments, etc... and can't be everywhere at the same time.. There just comes a time in our Lives where we need make serious decisions and as long as we never give up on our Dreams it's possible!. I think you made the right choice. I pray that God protects you on your new Journey 🙏 Les deseo mucha suerte y gracias por ser una imagen positiva y luchadora!! Sorry I just had to share with you.

I’m so happy I found this channel through your other channel. Sometimes, the hardest decisions are the best, and the fear of the unknown is scary, but you don’t know what the future holds if you don’t take the leap. As long as, you’re happy and at peace is all that matters

I totally understand you. I left my child care job because it just wasn’t my fit for me but man oh man leaving the kids was the hardest because you build the bond with the kids. It is hard leaving the kids but you needed to do what was best for you and your future.

Omg! I can totally relate & understand. I’ve been working with special needs kids for 5 years . But this past year was stressful, we were short staffed and underpaid. But I recently decided not to go back for those reasons and to hopefully grow as a nail tech. It’s nerve wrecking but hopefully all goes well.
