When police are accused with minimal evidence, they can be suspended pending the results of the investigation. And rightly so as they hold a position of authority.
Politicians arguably are in a much greater position of authority and should thus be held to equal or greater standards.
Also, being a politician isn't a career, "losing" their job as an MP should not be a factor.

Did you notice how much time the liberal got compared to the Conservation and NDP MP and did you notice that Vassey did not interrupt the liberal when she was speaking, did interrupt the NDP MP somewhat but sure as hell interrupted the Conservative MP when he was speaking. Vassey is not a well disguised liberal and that is disgusting to have a person who is biased asking questions, to have a platform to promote the liberal cause.
