  • Burt Bacharach's wonderful orchestral arrangement to 'Here I Am' for the 1965 Clive donner directed swinging 60s comedy written by woody allen What's New Pussycat. An all star cast featured Peter O''toole, Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress, Paula Prentiss, Woody Allen himself and the beautiful and tragic Romy Schneider.

This is breathtakingly beautiful. What's New Pussycat is one of my most favourite films and Peter O'Toole and Romy Schneider are perfect together. Poor Romy Schneider, what a very sad life she had. She and Peter O'Toole - much missed.

I got this film for Christmas. It was fantastic to see Peer Sellers and co. It's a shame that a lot of the stars are no longer with us. We do, however, have this movie to treasure forever.

So sad! An era gone, and a generation which has just about passed into history, along with most of this cast of such talented actors and actresses. The great Peter O'Toole! They live in our hearts forever!

One of the best songs written for a film by Burt Bacharach. It;s a shame it never got more air time. RIP Burt Bacharach.

Wonderfully melancholic with the photos. So sad to think that both Peter's and Romy once so full of life are no longer with us.

I absolutely loved this movie. Side splitting humor throughout!!! Dionne Warwick sang this song in the movie. I always think of the beautiful Romy Schneider & funny Woody Allen scene when I hear this song with Dionne singing it. I sure do miss the 60's. Great decade. One of the great movies out of a Great decade.

This son was actually sung while the luscious Ursula Andress made her appearance in the film- parachuting down from the skies to land in Peter O'Toole's car. Gorgeous song, gorgeous actress- who could ask for anything more?

This clip tracked the most sensitive part of the movie. Both Romy Schneider and Peter O'Toole walked along in the Paris night back to their apartment building and the magical moment occurred when he admitted that he loved her.

I wish I could get into a time machine and go back to the sixties...away from all the insanity of today where students are shooting at each other...back then, the only bad thing we did was throw wet paper towels at the ceiling in the bathroom to make them stick.

Fairy Lady this movie was all of three years before May 1968. And five years before Kent State. Things were definitely not simpler in your day - you were just really sheltered!

This song was like a theme for gorgeous Ursula Andress ..She parachuted out of the sky and landed in Peter O'Toole's car as it was playing.
She also had another beautiful theme in Casino Royale , Wonderful Dusty Springfield sang The LokOf Loveas Ursula graced the screen

Peter Sellers was absolutely brilliant in this film!! Fritz!!! Thanks so much for posting. Is it true Dionne Warwick is the vocalist to this track in one scene- the scene where Peter O'Toole is sitting at home with a scotch and then Romy's parents arrive?

Priapus. You would not want Ursula Andress to parachute into your car now. She is over 70 years old.

can anybody tell me what kind of hat/cap Peter O'Toole is wearing???

  • @eugenebrodeur3798

Warren Beatty almost got O'Toole's part. But he was such a pain in the ass he lost it. Beatty admitted it was his fault. I give him credit for that.
