You can remove all types of trees/bushes by turning off the snapping option on the brush, its the little square with four corners.
exactly
Love the new florida map
I think the not enough customers issue is actually a prices of commodities too high issue. This is likely related to not having enough industry, making the cost retailers pay for their products too high, meaning the customers you do have not being able to afford the commercial goods, so they are not buying very much. So, while you population is high enough to support all the commercial, the cost of goods is too high for people to afford it. Once you get your Industry in, that should cause the cost of goods to drop, which should resolve the "not enough customers" issue. More educated and thus higher income residence might also solve the issue (but then you would need the jobs for that as well).
howdie Timeisters, I'm also watching Red Sox Baseball as I watch you build your city here. Red Sox leads 1-0
They're doing good this year.
@@JimBones1990 Yes they are, let's hope they keep it up & make the playoffs this year. Shut up the haters lol
When you made the series three times Olivia UK and some you made the video soon I was eating food and was it takeaway to each time you made this I'm eating food today is it a KFC UEFA if I whip out a takeaway will you make another video😊😊
There are two houses in a Florida town. They share a backyard fence, but you have to drive a mile to get to the other house.
this is not florida, the houses arent on fire and full off gators
What map is this? Is it on PDX mods?
Tortoise Township
Turtle bay Is a good name
Florida? Theres no swamps or beaches. This looks more like upper New York or something. This looks nothing like Florida. The trees are completely wrong.
Second.
14:40 You don't need a mod to remove all trees with the tree tool, it's already in the base game. Just check button marked "snapping" in the tree tool menu to the left, it's a bit deceptively labeled, but that's what it does.
hearted comment ❤
Should totally be called "Turtle Bay Villas". Loving the Florida map. Don't forget to add the lakes near highway on ramps. I haven't seen 1 highway on ramp that doesn't have a pond/lake in it. Also, your high/medium residential demand is still high. Maybe add a few apartment complexes. They don't have to be big.
Pretty much the only creator left who touches cs2 and i applaud you for making it work and actually being able to create good content with the current limitations the game has. Thanks and keep it up!
uh, CPP and infastrucurist are going hard. teddy radko, silveret, jass, are some other high quality channels
"Tortuga Cove" It should a high HOA fee and gated to make it a Florida Neighborhood. Especially in Fort Myers'ish. Been living in Fort Myers since 1989.
TURTLE BAYSIDE
I almost moved to Florida but couldn't swallow a $10k pay cut but this is a very accurate recreation as a lot of these communities have water way inlets for "water access" or just water retention ponds. Great job!
A cool road to see in this series would be a road thats similar to Nova Road thats in Daytona/Port Orange. Its a 4 lane road but it has a canal running in the middle for most of the road.
Will these type of mods be available for console users too? I've read so much conflicting comments about mods on console
I live in a Neighborhood just like the one you built. If I were you I would use the path to create sea walls along the canals. For more realisam
It’s in vanilla. It’s that square that’s clicked in the video…
I live in Florida as nd he did an great job
release the map
i enjoy your choice of background music, gives me Vince Guaraldi vibes 👍 keep up the good work! love using your builds for inspiration
His Charlie Brown Christmas album was peak music of all time ❤
Turtle Cay or Turtle Cove feel very appropriate for a planned neighborhood in FL
Or "Tortuga"
27:27 This is not reasonable. Every canal I've seen in Florida uses seawalls, which in game would be the smallest quay.
Also, they would not dig a canal only to not connect to the gulf. Defeats the purpose of having the canal in the first place
34:30 Magnolia lane would more likely be a community park or even a school
Where I lived (near Ft Myers FL), all the canals had cement walls, I would use pathing, or residential roads to create canal walls (if you are going for florida realism)
Bay of Tortoise
Where’s the Publix?
Reminds me a lot of Punta Gorda FL, with "Turtle Island" being Punta Gorda Isles
Will you build and English style city? West Yorkshire possibly
literally looks like every other neighboorhood in this game. sad, allows for almost no diversity with just the same buildings
If you max out your commercial tax, it will make the demand less and a little more realistic in comparison to your residential population
i made the same water level / season mistake. ARGH so frustrating. At least there are water cleanup tools now.
Great neighbourhood, But shouldn't the bridges be a little higher to allow the citizens' to take their boats out to sea.
On that main highway near that new area would be good if you can fit palm trees in the middle of the thing to give it a bit more tropical look to the area
In Spanish, turtle is tortuga which sounds like a nice name for a place I think.
You can remove all tree types in the base game. you just have to unselect that littel square icon right under the brush strength
Also need a marina. Southwest Florida is known for its fishing & boating.
Now just line a 6 lane divided highway with single family homes and you've got it
Baked beans
I can't wait until we have more mods. I can't wait to see the possibilities.
Why does the game show commercial demand when so many stores don’t have customers
Turtley
Tortuga shores would be a cool name for the neighborhood.
Need to add a golf course. Florida is flooded with them
You should link all of your mods in the description
In 1.5 years this game might be worth it give or take
Name it tutur drive please because it is latin for turtle
What ever happened to bixton? Is that series done?
The most Florida Florida ever Floridaed
Turtle Bay
Turtle Lake
Turtle bend
Turtle river
Cement the walls make it look REAL man made
This map can pass for coastal Louisiana…
When are you uploading the map ?
Lot of canals in Cape have sea walls.
Bottoms of Turtle Island!!
in the dev tools, you can set the water simulation to Max speed. The game will slow down significantly, but the water simulation will speed up massively, so you can check if the water is behaving the way you want it to.
Looking forward for your newfoundland based city.
Keep the good work up!
Are you going to make this map available for install on CS2/Paradox Mods @Timeister?
Yes soon
ruh, yes soon? we want to build along with you......@@Timeister
@@Timeisterwhen is “soon?”
Tortuga Bay for the name
Floridians love their raised highways and railroads to avoid flooding; lowering that residential neighborhood was perfect.
Time later I recently got mods and it is way way better, I’m glad we aren’t playing vanilla anymore!!! It was a terror.
The city is really looking like a Grand Theft Auto VI town man! It looks great
In the water features mod you can turn off 'seasonal streams' which means in dry summers your rivers wont dry up.
Big chungus
Can we get that map pls
Turtle Bayside
Turtle Estates
I was just starting a Florida build myself lol this pack!
Turtle Cove
I think the name Turtle Estate fits pretty good for the new suburb
I’ve been watching this entire series! Love what you post 🥰
I hate how realistic this is. Perfect florida
Ooooh I like the roundabout to intersection trick, thanks😃
I love this series! Keep up the great work!
Looks super neat!
great video, really relaxing
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉I like it!
You should make a water tools tutorial cause that stuff is incredibly hard I was playing and making a city I was super happy with until all my rivers dried up on a custom map so I tried to use the water tools and ended up flooding half of my map so if you know how and are able to do like a mod tutorial that would be super cool
"Im gonna base Gasparilla off of Ft. Myers!"..........literally makes Punta Gorda lol. Great videos so far, really enjoy watching from the Gulf Coast!
We miss the Rockport series
Palm trees are not native to the USA, please do not fall into a lazy habit of placing them in forest-like clusters. They are only planted by humans, or wash in with the tide and plant themselves on the shoreline via floating coconut. Plant them by hand and take into consideration where humans would have spread them to if you want a realistic look.
I don't know. I've been to Florida and have seen sabal palms in areas that look rural.
@slaybaconrobloxgirl exactly!!! And I'm from Chicago
the motivation you give is amazing
