I have tried DMC Elite Mark 2, TYR Hydroblades and also the DMC Warriors, and from my experience the Elite 2s are by far the most comfortable. They offer slightly less thrust than the Hydroblades and Warriors but are made of different material and are much softer. They are also lighter than the Hydroblades. Both are great fins and wouldn't go wrong with either. Great video!
TYR are less floppy and are stiffer. (From my experience). That being said, maybe the floppy material of the Elite 2 doesn't make me notice the speed as much? Or maybe it"s the floppiness that gives it the speed? Curious to see your opinions.

I find the Arena to be the faster fins but they are the pair I referenced to that caused pain on the roof of my foot to the point I was unable to wear them. Putting my issues aside the Arena are the firmer and faster fins and the TYR have a bigger profile and are more comfy.
The Alpha? They are a novel idea but don't offer as much resistance and speed as what I'd say are the best fins on the market, DMC Elite, Tech 2, Arena Powerfin Pro and these TYR.
Hey, I am a sprinter and swim the 50 & 100 free/fly. I need a new tech suit and have been debating between the Mizuno GX Sonic IV ST and the Speedo Pure Intent. In your opinion, which is better for these races?
100% the Mizuno, I swim the same races as you and that's is my go to suit for Championship meets. The Pure Intent attempts to emulate some parts of the GX Sonic III but does so without the same buoyancy and compression.
I guess you mean Finis Agility Paddle (Finis have so many different paddles). The Finis Agility are better for stroke correction but nowhere near as good for speed or power!
@@nicolaicharykin8240 MX 02 is solid. I actually haven't worked out what's improved in G3 in male suit. In women's suit the upper half has bonded seams.

@@dannyhuang5930 oh no. Don't underestimate how long they do take to get on though. Takes some perseverance but I'd probably go a size up!

If you buy the catalyst paddles from Amazon within the US, they're about $18-20.
That's a much better price. I still use mine almost daily and love them!
