I've not had the pleasure of watching the entire build until now and loved it! You did an amazing job... both of you! Impressive! And what a learning experience... the skills you both have picked up! I don't think I've ever seen you sitting in the front seat Nicholette and I hope that one day you will have your swivel seat that allows you to more freely get in and out of the front seat. Thank you for taking us along with you on this lifes ride!
Starting out in winter is probably best because then it feels rewarding when the summer comes or when you get to a warm place.

Very cool! We went with a NO BUILD approach in our van and we very much appreciate seeing what others do in theirs.
We like the option of minimal things in the van - and to use that budget that would have gone into a build, to put towards the travel and the adventures!
We successfully went from an empty cargo van to a cross country road trip in 9 months. (PA to Grand Canyon National Park)
Two years later, we are still using pretty much the same set up with a bit of fine tuning and are still out adventuring! Expensive builds are nice, but not necessary to start adventures!
