She even broke up with him on Christmas because she wanted to go back into it and he objected, so she broke up with him and told him that she was just using him not to be alone and that she scammed him with a smile. The next day he went back to her. He said that he felt like he lost everything and that he was going to kill himself (He went back to his ex-girlfriend that night. She wound up stabbing him and slashing his tires a few days later.). He said that he would die for her and die without her. And this was after TWO MONTHS of dating her! It's kind of touching, actually.

7:22 it's called co-dependency. Alcoholics and drug addicts are famous for this. Their "damage" draws you in to "take care" of them and "help them" but what ends up happening is, they bring you down to their level instead of you raising them up.

It's not just the 304 that causes problems. She is also a package deal with other people. Like her drug dealers, screwed up parents and siblings, enabler/codependent friends etc. Your not just dealing with her, your dealing with all these other people and their influences in her life. We have many guys like him, they seek help but at the same time they won't take our advice. They keep arguing about their choices but again they want us to give our opinion. And when we give them our opinion, they just don't like it. It's a complete waste of time.

Last week my coworkers girlfriend of seven years just passed away. She ended up dying due to years of alcohol abuse. For the last four or five years she was confined to a wheelchair due to her drinking and it had gotten so bad he had to wash her and help her go to the bathroom. When I found out this was going on my first instinct was to be brutally honest with him and that her dying even though sad is a blessing for him but I just kept my mouth shut and let it be.
I was in his shoes for up to 10 years guys take my advise don’t date a broken woman or single mom eventually she will leave you broken and disappointed
Rich, your patience is absolutely amazing; 11+ minutes and he is still trying to convince you that he is right for continuing to hang with her. I am not sure who can help him but he certainly isn’t ready to hear the truth; does he not have even one male friend that can give him the right perspective? I would choose to be alone before being with that chick.

You are right to be afraid and cautious when approaching women.
At best they ghost you, at worst its legal issues, financial loss, anchor for 18 years via "oops im pregnant", stds / cheating or plain mental health damage via narcissistic/sadistic/destructive behaviours.
The only reason to consider social contact with a woman is to form a family or when its unavoidable while ur making money. To achieve that she needs to bring something to the table.
Some people are going through bad times for a reason. God has set it up and if u stand in the way of their bad karma be sure u will experience it yourself.

EVERYTHING he starts doing now will give him a reward in the next decades, stop drinking, regular exercise, stop eating crap. Does he want to avoid depression?, running 2-3 days a week releases enough endorphins and improves protein synthesis so he can grow enough muscle to stay healthy.
Yeah we like to complicate our lives, that's why we need this kind of communities where man can support each other and point out the stupidity and mistakes.
I think one of the reasons that men hold onto this mentality is because as men we're natural problem solvers. And one of the things we hate feeling the most is helplessness. So when you tell a man that his problems can be solved by admitting that there's nothing he can do to fix a woman he loves or the situation he's in, there's a natural inclination to deny that. It's counterintuitive to say "the best thing you can do to fix this is nothing". You just have to work on accepting that there's certain things in a woman that you're powerless to change. And that's okay.
