I am with you on that. I was really blown away when I spoke with the owner. At a time when they least could afford it, they were generous towards so many others. ! It's no wonder they're blessed today. I will definitely being going back.

Yes I am, my grandmother would take me down there and get something to eat and then go back home, every time I see your videos it's almost like if I could smell what your cooking, when I get enough time in Las Cruces I'll go to lujans farm and pick my own 🌶, really glad to have this conversation with you thank you so much 😊
I love me grilled cheese I always use provolone, cheddar and American. I also put garlic butter and then shredded parmesan on the garlic butter before I grill it it's so over the top! I eat there at the central Grill about three times a year they always close at 2:00 which is when I go to work so I ty to catch him before they close I like their patty melt good job on the segment!

As for elevated grilled cheese I made one with Panera’s roasted tomato basil bread - thick slice, sharp cheddar and Monterrey jack, and bacon. Best grilled cheese I’ve ever made. Definitely going to try this one.
One of the first jobs I ever had was in the deli of a grocery store, where I learned about different kinds of cheeses. I LOVE cheese. Still, I had never used this particular combination in a grilled cheese, and it was fantastic. I'm curious, what are your cheese choices? 😋

Sounds good. Different cheeses than What I would do though. I would use cheddar swiss and muenster. I like to grill shredded cheddar onto the outside of the sandwich, adding a crusty cheesy layer. Also if you put a lid over the sandwich, it helps melt the cheese better.
Cheddar on the outside of the sandwich sounds SO good! Now I’m hungry all over again. Also, as I’m reading your comment, I’m kicking myself for not covering it with a lid. 🤦🏻♀️I was so caught up in trying to make it the way they did at the restaurant that I forgot the obvious. If you put a lid over it while it's on the grill it'll help melt the cheese and your sandwich won't burn
