I’m a construction worker in the city, I Mill and paved the roads and I’ve lost mad money because they took lane mileage away to give the money to the migrants and I don’t even know if I’m gonna be able to pay my rent very upsetting, I believe if you can come here legally then welcome do it the right way welcome but now you’re taking money away from me and my family or we can’t pay our bills it just doesn’t feel right

He joined the marines and served in WW2 in the Philippine Islands, came home and opened a store 1950’s to 1980’s - CraMar Jewelers - on Pelham Pkwy & White Plains Rd. I grew up in Jericho LI and after college lived in Manhattan for 5 years before bailing to Florida, now living in Jupiter. The way the politicians threw its citizens under the bus is terrible. Just terrible. NYC was a police state under Giuliani and Bloomberg and the city was run tight and was great for business and lifestyle. Now it’s flipped over on its back. I work in Midtown. I see homeless people every damn day. I feel for them. We don’t help our own homeless people out on the street , yet we offer assistance to people who just came here. Yet, my Dad who’s an Army Vet can’t get food stamps or any assistance. It bothers me soooo damn much!

I moved out of Queens 2 months ago and haven't looked back. NYC went from being my city to my nightmare.

Let us not forget the 15 year old kid from Venezuela who was living in a migrant shelter, who was shoplifting at a store in TimeSquare this past weekend who shot an innocent bystander tourist and took shots at police officers chasing him, not caring who he could’ve hurt or God Forbid killed. Like you, I come from Immigrant Sicilian parents, My screen name obviously not my real name (employment reasons), and welcome people who want to come to this country for a better life for themselves and/or their children. BUT, and I’ve said this from the very first bus load, we know nothing about any of these people. Some, not all, may be running from prosecution in their own country for God knows what atrocities they have committed. Unlike you, the politicians in NY have no balls & are running in a popularity contest. Like most politicians, they talk a good game, but their endgame is themselves.

We are all going through this horrific and disgraceful annihilation of our beautiful country. I agree with you, that politics have a way of making us question what the hell is going on. But I ask you, with all respect, which candidate (of the only ones we have to choose), will stop the influx of illegal migrants and shut the borders? That is the person you vote for. You may not like everything about him or her, but we know how we got into this mess. I don't agree with your dilemma; you are on the fence and there is no perfect choice. I was born in NYC and I couldn't take it anymore because it's gotten too scary to take Public Transportation without having to think you might get Mugged by a The Criminal Insane person who walks freely on the Streets.
Its not you they have ruined my city, I moved years ago and will not go back to visit the city or state I loved.They have brain washed, my family still lives there .
