I'm new to overwatch and the first thing I learned from all the tip videos is you play as SUPPORT not a healer. Supporting the team is just as important as healing the team so you can still be aggressive as long as you're keeping your team alive.
Some people take it too far and end up with more damage than heals and that's when it becomes an issue but if everyone is surviving and you're also popping off then I see that as a win win.
the core ow community didnt undestand this concept in 6 years, if u play support and u heal bot you are throwing the game
@@aarus2340 there’s a diff between “supporting” and being a dps healer like almost all silver moiras and Ana’s. There’s a fine line and I’d rather have a heal bot than a dps healer who can’t get kills
There is a balance. But if you get a decent bit more damage than you have healing, Ur not doing the job right. Players who have the capability to get loads of kills whilst being a healer and healing a decent amount, are an exception. But if you have 10k dmg and 7k healing whilst your team are getting slapped in every team fight. Then ur the problem
Yeah the second part of your comment is so important too. This doesn’t mean that people who play dps moira have been correct all along it just means that heal bots aren’t always the best option, although it does depend on the game and the situation. Sometimes only heals are needed either for a fight or for a whole game and it’s important to recognise that and adapt if needed.
But I also hate when the healers start bragging about having the most elims or damage then proceed to blame DPS. Bro I literally killed both of them healers and that's enough for push but instead the team chilling around on the choke point. Elims and damage doesn't matter that much as long as you killed the most important high value target and start following up.

Overwatch has always had a hybrid healer. You have one healer that mains healing, the other does damage. Moira, Zenyatta, and Ana were great for dps/heals. They also have debuffs that are really good.
Before aimbot there was Shroud. In my day, there was no “aimbot” there was Shroud and we were happy about it.

Dude thank you for playing Kiriko correctly. DPS are not the only heroes that are allowed to do damage. Supports that heal-bot all game are not contributing to the game like they think they are.

@@Shadow-wb8lk I mean it depends on the situation, as u can see in the last game shroud had 10k dmg and 7k healing yet they won relatively comfortably. Doesn’t mean it’ll work every game but maybe if he ended up doing more healing than damage, they may not have won that game, I guess we’ll never know.
@@oscarjenkins7505 I completely agree with you on both points. Thats what separates a good support from the bad ones. That balance. Its all about the situation. If you’re team arent as good then u might need to carry the healing more and as a result do less damage. But if there isnt too much need for healing u can do damage but dont push too far and get yourself killed. When healers have enough experience to know when to do what. Is when you know you’re in the higher comp ranks
shroud has such good natural aim sense hitting projectiles esp on the HEAD is different and much harder than an instant hit and he does this almost casually not that i mean he hasnt had it before

People need to understand it's not the "healer" role, it is "support".
Well the thing is, healing is just such a major part of the game that without it, many players have to completely change their pocket healed playstyle

Friendly tip to anyone linking timestamps. Manually edit them to two seconds before the actual stamp! I've clicked four timestamps in the comments now and every single one is a split second after the action.
When I click a timestamp and get to see what the person is writing about on the first click I know they made an effort and my heart fills with joy :)
I'm always impress watching Shroud play no matter what game he plays, he's my favorite FPS Game player since CSGO era, and I can see he got quite a lot more energy than back then xD back then when Shroud clutch kills be like: 😐😐 and when open skins and get the rarest one also be like: 😐😐

He’s plat on DPS and Tank and gold on Support. Yes, he has great aim, and that is the flashiest part of the game, but there is a lot more to learn and stuff he can work on to improve his game

IF kiriko is a support then damn i wish all supports could fight and support like this. usually support means you can't do shit alone since you hit like a wet paper bag
I mean Zenyatta can also do damage, just lack the mobility Kiriko has.
lucio can do a lot of damage as well, especially with headshots, and he is pretty hard to hit normally so you can still be a menace to the enemy team by yourself
baptise do also deal good dmg on headshots with a lot of survability kits. Anna can 3 shot some dps and with sleeping dart. Moira can kill with mobility.
That’s why Kiriko is so good in the hands of a skilled player. You can do crazy dmg if u have great aim like shroud, and she has a great standard healing. As well as being able to teleport out of fights, and make herself invincible.
Kiriko is hard to play, proceeds to solo 2 or 3 while using the movement that lower level ignore during fights
Warning i actually bought that mouse in the none shroud Edition, for me the Bluetooth worked shit and i switched right back too wired. Sadly no good mouse, its also too heavy
