I am total digging splitter! I am the guy with trailer door with extended door flap to increase approach and still have to use boards..lol. AJ SS 1LE with knock off ZL1 1LE front facia and APR front splitter. I always disliked air hap that you've addressed. I gotta say I wanna get your total setup and see if I can beat AIM Solo Dl best times!
Very NICE! I’d love to see a video on the composite side of making splinters using the core. I’m building my car and have been watching all your videos and will soon be taking on the challenge of making many carbon parts. Making spliters, front rear and side is something I’d really like to see from you. The way you teach with your videos is really great.
Hu….. I don’t seem to be able to find it, I’ve seen the one for the maroon mustang, but that is the air damn. I’m trying to educate myself the best I can in how to use such materials as the honeycomb core or dense board core. Thank you for your time.@@ajhartmanaero
Maybe I’m just missing it, I went back and have pretty much watched every video you have over the last year or so. I was trying to see if by chance you had one showing the process of using the core material, honeycomb, board, etc. thank you for your time.@@ajhartmanaero
Beautiful engineering! and nice fab work on those brackets! total splitter thickness was what? 3/4"? sloping to 1/4"? Real nice shaping. No tunnels though? or just not on this car? I know the profiling does a bit but even with the aux rads on the sides, I was hopping you'd fit a small tunnel (or two) in there. Mad props though. I'll be sending you some more business!
Just really no room on this car given the coolers hang really low in the bumper corners. If they were relocated then you could do more aggressive tunnels. One of my parameters was making something install friendly.
What is the effect of venting the horizontal cooler out of the bottom? I have a Jaguar F-type R with a factory cooler that dumps out of the factory under tray, does this create more lift with the hot air going down under the body? There is just about zero Aero option for the FType so you have inspired us to give designing our own a try.
You mentioned wanting to do a kit for a 1LE. Do you want 3d scans of the bottom of a 2018 ZL1 1LE? I have an Einstar and could try to grab a scan of the bottom of the car for you.
How far does the splitter stick out from the lower body work? Did you look at the option to add tunnels? There's already some very small OEM tunnels. I know there not much room with the coolers in front of the tires. Can you add a box for notes on the splitter order page. Which wing would you say balances the aero with this splitter the best? Thanks.
One in the video is 6.5-7” from what I’ll call the main plastic bumper cover. We can make that whatever you need if there’s any class rules. And yeah, no room for a real splitter tunnel without a bunch of extra work. I wanted these to have as much performance as possible but still be install friendly.
As always great video! I can't afford your parts but I can steal your ideas!
Very rad that you consider adding the option for folks to get the rivnuts and tool!
“Watching just for fun…”
✋ 😂
Enjoy the content.

Looks awesome! The compressible rods are a nice touch. 👍
Looks good. Very interested

Did the splitter video years ago. Gotta scroll back a bit for that one.

Very nicely built system 👍🏾

Now watching past videos trying to figure out if thats my old car. Was that car in a fire?

Someone get this man a ZL1 1LE please!

Do you do aero for drag racing? I have a 6th gen and would like to reduce drag and increase downforce
Strong like a Gorilla!
Any chance you'd offer the airdam parts as a DIY/universal kit?
Yes. Shoot me an email at ajhartmanaero@ gmail.com or through the contact page on our website.
Thanks, how much better is that than a ZL1 1LE set up...? thanks again
A lot better
@@ajhartmanaero Like 20 percent or something?
So glad you got rid of that mustang, bro. That thing was surely to kill someone in the grandstands one day just like cars and coffee.
