- This is an original ambient track called "Rift", made for Hypixel's Skyblock game on the Hypixel Minecraft Server. It is the general island song that plays in the alternate skyblock hub dimension called The Rift, accessible via the Wizard Tower. Hope you enjoy!
It's been a year since the last track got uploaded, huh? Time flies.
I kept this one lowkey, with an emphasis on bass. Just like how barren and void the Rift is, the song reflects the same. There's a few changeups here and there to help keep it interesting, though!
A noteblocker named Pigler (who really likes necron doom) made a fanmade song for this area called Rift Lords which had a cool melody. So I took inspiration from that at 2:05.

The tones that start out loud but trail off into nothing really add to the creepy feel. Great song!
I loved it when the Minecraft End theme played over it. It fits the Rift so much
It has that sort of eerie feeling to it, as though you're about to get killed. Which you probably are.
Haven't played the new update, but it seems promising from the music :D

I was surprised when there was a special theme to the leeches when it came out, wish there were more kinds of those themes in like bosses, minibosses etc.

All the skyblock music is made from Minecraft sound effects (note blocks, portal sounds, footsteps etc)

I mean if you manage to get that much Rift Time AND a safe spot to listen to the music to AND 32 Grand XP Bottles or 300 Bits to spare, you can, it’s just really hard.

Nah its not hard at all I have about an hour of rift time I could listen to this forever
the song is 7 minutes 40 seconds, the lowest possible rift time you can get is 8 minutes, wdym

It kinda doesn't make sense that player chat works normally in the rift, would be really cool if all player masseges are jumbled or obfuscated when sent in the rift.

If i had to guess, its because you play on 1.8.9 (don't worry, i do too). Note blocks had new sounds added in later updates, but most of these were after 1.9. That's the best answer i can give you
