Update on Rosie

Rosie has surpassed the life expectancy set by multiple vets and she celebrated her 9th birthday in November 2022. She still has energy and loves snuggles (on her terms). The tumour is very large now and impacts her balance and flight. She struggles with getting in and out of her cage, so I got her a little bridge but she’s not convinced. Thank you to everyone for the comments and positive thoughts

I'm glad to see she is still holding on! Warrior girl! I got an abandoned baby lovebird (female) in 2020 and used Rosie's chirping video to get her to come to me when she was flying around and throwing tantrums 😂❤

My little lovebird crashed into a mistnet one day and - failing to find wherever he came from - I brought him home. Rosie has always been his favourite cyber-gf too. Happy to see she is beating the odds.

Same here! We adopted an untame lovebird in 2020 and listening to Rosie's chirps was the only thing that could calm him down for a long time.

So glad she is still with you! We also had a lovebird with a large tumor but internal. But she also out lived expectations. These little ones can be stronger than imagined.
