    I batter and fry them and they are delicious. Just fillet them like you would any other fish. Very light and flaky with no fishy flavor. I have no idea why more people don't eat them and don't really care, LOL.

    Thats how we cook all our fish traditionally. When steaming try adding thai chili peppers in the stomach cavity.

    Wow I had actually caught a sculpin at the imperial beach pier. I should've brought it over to you guys. Pretty good size too probably a bit smaller than this one.

    I live in Connecticut and it looks like a sea robin here we just cut the neck bone and pull the head back and the head and skin come off and just filet the tail they do taste good

    man when i pull those guys from the water i see dozens of worms dropping out of them . if i Ever needed to eat one (zombie apocalypse) it would be fire cooked til hard and Black

      Kami Abadi Nope. Their spines are venomous and will irritate you like crazy if stung

      The poison is in their spines.... don't get poked....it's like an uncomfortable bee sting ...
