• Curve Fitting Least Sq...
I AM EXTREMELY SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCES.
In curve fitting method, the natural logarithm (ln) is often used when fitting an exponential equation of the form y = ae^(bx) to a set of data points.
The reason for using the natural logarithm is because it can transform an exponential equation into a linear equation. Taking the natural logarithm of both sides of the equation, we get:
ln(y) = ln(a) + bx
Now, if we plot ln(y) against x, we get a straight line with slope b and y-intercept ln(a). We can then use linear regression techniques to find the best-fit line and determine the values of a and b for the original exponential equation.
Using the natural logarithm to transform an exponential equation into a linear equation is a common technique in curve fitting, and can be used with other types of functions as well.

Here, the equation is,
B= loge *b, so the value b will be as,
b= B/(loge), simple math not antilog(B)
Yes
B=b
Thank you for providing such an easy explanation on this topic
Welcome
I just Skipped This video and TF 🤣🤣 Same Question aaya Exam mei😢😢
Wah bhai. Maza aagaya 😁
Same brother
@@Civillearningonline koi na next year solve karlena 🤣🤣
Same 😢
Yeah fr same happens with me also that too everytime 😂
I have a question..
For the last equation there was b×loge so when equating you solve it as antilog(..) but what about the e?????
e is just a representation, loge transform to antilog.
e represents natural log. And another is ln.
Same question
He takes the wrong log in calculator. ln in calculator is actually log and its antilog is e^ .... but the log he takes was actually log base10, i.e log10( .

You are taking logY then Y don't you take log x ?
Curve fitting mein orthogonal polynomials aur least squares method ka kya role hota hai?
dont we use natural log ln(10) to find logy?
Yes. You are right.

hello, what should I do if i have a function like that: Ax(e^(-Bx)) thanks for your respond
Thank you brother osm class iam getting confident to write exam
Welcome bro😍😍
Best of luck
👍🤝
You're a good tutor
Thank you for good explanation, Just I’m asking how to calculate the parameters using same method and same data for double exponential fit for this formula,
Y = A.e^ax+B.e^bx
For the previous formal we need to calculate A,B,a,b then Y
Could you please provide some explanation of this one, I will appreciate
I need to use same method you showed here
Ok bro i will let you know soon.
Civil learning online Thank you for your response
may I know if this example of yours is align in nonlinear regression?
Loge=ln so you have take anti ln instead of antilog in finding the value of b
Sir pls explain using Taylor's series method solve dy/dx= x^2+y^2 for x=0.4 given that y=0 when x=0
Which language do you want hindi or English?
Give me 2 days time
here Y is equal to logy , why didn't you changed that for calculate the equation of y?
My lecturer explained using Natural Logarithm and got different answer which should I follow now
You cannot ise natural log in this method. Do as per this video.
@@Civillearningonline only in this question we can't use natural log or we have not to use in every question ??
Tqs for solving the problem nd excellent explanation 🤩🤩
Welcome dear
Tqu brother
Why you dont use natural log ??
In log consists base e so use In button for logy=Y
Yes
Can this be done by using linear reressiin method??? What will be the difference
Hello dear,
Here we have converted the exponential function into linear equation and further the step is similar to what we do in case of linear equation.
That's the main thing to take into consideration.
Do check out my video on linear equation link in description. And i am quite sure that you are going to love it. And see the difference.
@@Civillearningonline i have seen the same exact question done by regression directly calculating a and b... Can we do any of them if given in exam
@@adriansmith9898 yes you can. Same question and be solved by other method also. Go for it.
@@Civillearningonline b=(n£xy-£x*£y)/n£x^2-(£x)^2

Can we use this method sir... Please reply👍👍👍
Yes
Sir then what we should do when even no. series is given?
Process is same. And you will have two options in case of even number. You can proceed taking any of two

Is curve fiting is overfitting sir?
It's curve fitting.
@@Civillearningonline can you post an example problem on overfiting sir?
Value of B will not be changed! B=b
Ln10 is equal to 2.303
Can you find the root mean square for this
thanks alot sir but loge b=B
then b is equal to e^(B) i think sir??????
Yes dear. You are right. And due to this confusion I had added a new example on this Method. Link is in description.

Check out the link pinned in the comment section. It is going to be helpful to you.
You are doing wrong calculation .there is mistake you have done is that once you take base e of log and then base 10 ...
Are u sure the answer is correct
Keep it up bro
Sir b= b, not log b
It's just for notation dear.
Not matter in what way you solve a numerical but remember you should follow the correct step.
And here in this video it is clearly explained so go for it.
Good job
Thank you❤
the value of b is wrong it should be 0.0590
good job boy
Thankyou sir🥰
the log you are taking is wrong, you need to take ln , not log.....
ln means log
and log means log10( in calculator
Right
A and B ka ki value kaise nikali sir
Either solve 2 equations manually by elimination method or use calculator to slove them. You can watch my 2nd video on same method where I have solved the equation using calculator. Link is pinned in comment section. Havd a look.
Thank you sir
Explain clear ga ledhu bro
tq bro
We have ta take ln insted of log
It's clearly shown while getting the final answer through calculator.
It should be B=b.....it's wrong there🙁
Yes you are right.
I am rectifying it today.
Is 991 allowed in Exam
In my exam. It was allowed.
Thank you bro
We don't have that option in our modern calculators 😶😶
You can solve your equation manually or change your calculator.
Press mode three times than press 1 you will get the same option in new calc
