      Hi! I plan to do that as well, how did it go? Did the paint crack or did it affect the sound quality?

    I have a 700 and considering how little I paid for it when compared to its pretty good sound, Im happy.

    Man that’s a huge diaphragm that’s better than I thought ... these sound pretty ok ... but I figured with that diaphragm it would sound deeper ... thx for video . That’s a hard mic to beat for 10$ IMO .

    The Neewer NW-800 does not sound the same as the older better NW-700. The grill design is very important as the NW 700 has the Neumman style flat front. That flat front basket design is at least 20% of the U87 and u67 sound. Both the Nw700 and 800 have an electret capsule . Remove that foam from the inside as it gives the mic a high end shrill sound. Put a pantyhose sock over the grill that will make this mic open up.

    Your LG washing machine is finished it's cycle I heard.

    The gold colored cage is a head basket. That microphone would be a good candidate as a donor mic for a custom mic build using a real quality condenser and circuit board kit MP-V57 from microphone-parts.com. As a donor mic it's a bit small so keep the shock mount it came with.
    That condenser it comes with is similar to what you'll find in Blue Yeti or a MXL-910. Very very cheap.

      i use the NW-700 for trumpet, it is a very good mic and give the same quality audio as the most expensive stupid quality one we tried.

    i tried resoldering the three wires on mine and i ended up damaging one of them so much i couldn't resolder it :| the wires were multi strand but they were so small that i had trouble counting them so i have no idea what kind of wire i need

    A friend of mine bought one and gave it to me because it didn't work. Looking at this video and comparing to the one i have everything looks alright, it looks the same.
    I don't know where to begin... any recommendations?

    but your never going to go into it !? those parts dont move i think you just like messing with things " if it's not broke dont fix it "

    • @mygiguser

      Netty Voyager bad solder joints are going to cause trouble over time.

      @@mygiguser I think they'll be fine. Where is corrosion going to come from? They're certainly sloppy joints but i don't think they're cold joints, and even then, there's basically no wire movement there anywhere. There's no current to speak of and no local thermal cycling either.

    Gday
    Has anyone got one of these cheap mics and replaced the mic bit to fix it, you know the actual mic not the whole casing

    • @Demon09-_-
      @Demon09-_- 6 лет назад

      doubt full a brand new nw-800 is pretty cheap so its probably not economical to replace the condenser in it

    • @billkaroly
      @billkaroly 6 лет назад

      If you replace the condenser you must also upgrade the circuitry. There is a kit, MP-V57, from microphone-parts.com which costs $139. A so so condenser start around $50 on eBay and go up. The manufacturer of the circuit board kit sells an RK-87 condenser for $159.

      @@billkaroly these mics and other similar are I'm fact electret not condenser if u break the condenser bit u would see it's merely a regular electret mic .60¢ it's a scam product. Lol condenser lmaooo

  • @W0rldViralDaily
    @W0rldViralDaily 3 года назад +2

    It's a fake wannabe mic meaning it's an electret mic not real condenser if u would have broken apart the condenser part u would know this. This mic is a scam product.

    • @over2seeyer

      eletret are condenser, altho this one is clearly on the cheap side there are high quality ones used in expensive mic like the CAD E100 series
