    Thanks for the video. We are getting ready to replace our riser/mixer. First option is one like yours with separate elbow and the other is single continuous piece with thermal jacket. How is your set up working out?

    I took the elbow off my 2GM20F Yanmar to inspect. Not much carbon in there. Do you happen to know how the salt water does not flow back into the engine? Maybe the box before the elbow works as a one way valve that only opens when the engine is running.

      I am currently searching for how to remove the lower elbow off my Yanmar. These rust and just break, apparently, due to vibrations. Have to replace mine, heh..
