Another one worth a look is the LFD Offroad roof rack, they have different lengths and are quiet and sturdy.

Can you open and/or tilt the moonroof with the Westcott and Prinsu racks?

0:38 Looks like its touching the paint. Even with that rubber edge guard this will mar the paint. They should of made some clearance in that area.

I have the short OEM roof rack. But I kind of wish I had a longer one because when I'm hauling sheetrock or plywood from a big box store it's much more useful to have a longer one for 8 ft material

In your experience , which would you say is quieter, the FE half rack or wescott?

Curious if you've seen either the Spider NDRR or Prospeed racks? I've been leaning towards the Prospeed, having seem them on several GX 470/460s but the Westcott looks to be roughly the same height.

You mentioned road noise for westcot but not prinsu which seems better ?

They are all Ikea bolt together yourself and meant for asphalt trails not real off-road. With a RTT, they feel like they are coming apart on rough off roading.. Top 3 for now, until the Big Country 4x4 fully welded Aluminum one is ready!

They are all modular and bolt together, that’s true. Your point is valid on the fully welded units will be more heavy duty. I’m excited about more options in the future, but for a 250, you’re probably not really going to be doing anything super heavy duty. Thanks for commenting, I love your videos
