Surfing has reached a plateau,is what I’m getting at. Still fun of course. Just avoid going nostalgic with the sport like riding a wall hanger single fin and you should be fine. Having a beard and wearing a wool beanie in July in San Diego should die out with time too. Be patient. Try a light hat on if you’re not sure.

The surfing is off the charts awesome...AMAZING. But...with our responsibility as Watermen and stewards of the sea...I was disappointed in the masturbation like conquest of how many beautiful fish I can catch/kill...I felt a disconnect...felt like I was watching rich white kids that want to be Tom Blake but still have their new Nikes.
