    Awesome tutorial :)
Fyi, you can connect the chicken loop to the pump connection on the kite before packing up the kite to keep things clean. You can leave it there until after the kite is pumped up and your ready to connect the bar to the jet ski (or other stable object)

Genius. First video I’ve seen with this technique. The other ones are all “first step, get a yacht.” Sure. I wish.

Feels a bit sketchy man. I didnt like the part where you let the kite drift while lines are still wrapped in the bar. I think it might be safer to keep kite tethered to the jet-ski, unfold the lines and let them drift downwind, then untether the kite. That said, i have never attempted it my self. But it can even be seen in your video that it gets a bit messy when you unfold the lines with one hand and hold the kite by one of the lines with the other.

Thanks for the video! Very helpful. I want to launch from a Hobie Tandem Island and then power the TI with the kite as a tool to learn kite control before I do it standing on a board. In your video you say when letting out the kite and lines to hold the center lines so the kite stays pointing into the wind and doesn't launch. I was thinking about winding the center lines a few times before adding the outside lines to the bar. Do you think this is a good idea?

Hi Brian this might help you when inflating as it will give your rear lines some slack when you inflate the kite but overall I try to keep it as consistent as possible so not to creat confusion.

Hi man, great video! Quick question: where do you fix your board on the jetski while navigating to the spot?

I either put it in the foot well or strap it down on the sled.

Hi Jeff Great video. Just one thing, if you have a problem when letting your lines out and you have to release you would be chasing the kite. Would it be better to have a second lanyard to connect as a safety so the kite doesn't blow away?

Hi Robert good catch. Yes it’s always better to have the safety attached. If your hook is big enough you can connect it to both the chicken loop and flagging line. This way if you need to pop the safety on the quick release, it is still attached to the flagging line.

Thanks for this video. How did you get back on the jet ski with the kite still attached? I’m not jumping yet…

Hi John, with the sled attached I used the grab handles to pull myself back on. One option you can do is have a longer line from the ski/boat with a carabiner that you can connect to the chicken loop while in the water so that way can climb up without being attached.

Whats the name of the pad on the back of the ski?

It is a rescue sled. The one I use is an inflatable version not good for big surf but a great accessory for the ski for water sports.
