I love this video. This lady knows exactly what she is saying and she lives in the rural areas of Zimbabwe near Bulawayo. How come she can see the opportunities on the ground while native Zimbabweans don’t see or know what opportunities exist. I would love to visit Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania etc to see what Africa can offer us the children of Africa. This is curious and interesting. If a middle aged African woman came back to Zim empty-handed, after 30 years of living and working abroad, would people gush over her the way they are this woman, or would they call her a failure? I'm just curious as to how we treat/judge one another in comparison to how we judge white people/Europeans. She is right, she is much better off in Zimbabwe than in the UK where a person without means and loving children can look forward to an old age of poverty, neglect and loneliness, all under damp grey skies and freezing temperatures for much of the year.

Inspirational. Two take away points. Do what makes you happy at the core of your heart. Secondly, this woman said she lived in a van for five years with no hint of shame or anything. Some of our people like to fake it you make it as they love to say in the US. It is ok to want more but being content with what you have and where you are make a big part of our happiness. Do not do things to please others, do it for yourself and secondarily those that you love.

"Our language", people would rather not try to speak Shona or Ndebele bcoz of tribal lines and start to insult each other bcoz one is Ndebele and the other is Shona. We shld know our languages and speak them better than any foreign language. Zimboz would prefer to go and break Zulu than Ndebele and Shona.
