Per ProTee: 8'4" is too low, not recommended. Besides potential detection issues there is also a slight chance the unit is hit with using a wedge in an upwards swing. 8'6" is low, but works. High speed shots will require a ball like TP5 in order to make sure correct spin values are detected. The TP5 has a lot of reference points which can be detected by the VX. 8'8" is lower then recommend, but we did not find any issues. We did not receive any negative feedback from users using the VX at 8'8".
Which 2 models would be able to accommodate left and right hitters? And what was the offset from center, if they are hitting roughly 3 feet either side. Was there a book or anything else provided or can we more info from Protee? Cheers!
Thanks so much for this- great info! The middle of the pack VX certainly seems to provide the best overall package- not clear what the extra $1000 gets you with the RLX and you need marked balls for it… looking forward to seeing all the specs!
I take it that the system has to face the golfer. can it be behind the golfer or will it not read the club? from the sound of it, the clubs will need stickers as well. I'm hoping they will have more information on their site when they release the systems.
Great video, but was desperate for you to ask the guy from pro tee if TGC 2019 was going to be updated soon other software is catching up fast they need to up there game now to remain on top.
It’s interesting that the VX is the only one with all of the data points including Face Impact Point, but it’s priced between the RLX and RX. I’m not sure why anyone would want the RLX over the VX. Unless the AI is that much better with RLX. Think I’d still want all the data points with the VX. That said, the Eye Mini may be the best bang for buck of them all.
Please 🙏🏼 for all of us overseas all over the world, always ask if they work worldwide. P.D: I bought a Bushnell LP, paid thousands of $$ plus customs, etc., only for the unit to be "Regionally locked". Lost a ton of time and money to figure out and now I have 5k "decor".
I hear if you get caught looking at or speaking anything related to "GSPRO" the launch monitor locks you out. Before buying you need to ask Protee what simulator software they will actually support. TGC 2019 is going on 4+ years old with no updates so you better not hitch your wagon to that dying product.

The more choices we have, the better. I love where this is going.
Thanks for watching!
Does the unit have to be in front like that or can it work from behind? My concern is sky balls.
Are you getting a Protee unit to test ? I’m holding back purchasing currently until I see an honest review. Thanks
They said they would have one to test a long time ago and keep saying there isn’t one available. So I’m not really sure what is going on.
hey Jay, do you know if the new VX can be calibrated to operated at lower ceiling heights (8 ft 6in)?

would these also work well with callaway or any brand of golf ball with a soccer ball design?
They really have not specified yet so I’m not sure.

Are there any other new simulators comparable to the Bushnell price range. I’m looking to upgrade from my Skytrak.
Shoot me an email and we can discuss some options 👍

As of right now VX looks like a great unit. RLX is still be developed so could offer more. Thanks for watching!
Did they give a timeframe to when this will be available for purchase?
Not yet, but sounds like that will be coming very soon. I will keep everyone posted. Thanks for watching!
What price range are we talking here? I have agolf bay that will be 18ft w X 12ft h x 36 ft deep. So probalbly would need it custom fit....Thanks...
We talked about the prices in the video. Sorry walking around the show so don't want to misspeak.
@@GolfSimulatorVideos Thanks I found the site and all the options...

Hi Jay. Thanks for your work. Probably not but, any news on a new version of TGC or maybe some updates on ProTee play?
Not at this time. I do not expect there to be though as they have not indicated it at all. Thanks for watching!
That is a truly interesting set of units! If it really does work with TP5, so cool. Uneekor has some catching up to do!
I wasn't clear on the comparison between what this would have vs the eyexo2, what do you mean catching up to do?
Great video, but was desperate for you to ask the guy from pro tee if TGC 2019 was going to be updated soon other software is catching up fast they need to up there game now to remain on top.
There are no plans as of right now. Thanks for watching!
Ok thanks, hope they realise that everyone will be heading off to GS Pro in the near future.

Try express vpn
They will work worldwide
Great video , can’t believe they don’t do a floor mounted model!
It could be coming 🤔
You don’t want anything Protee “makes”. Please don’t buy these lol
@@GrecoISU_Golf I’ve had the protee unit for 3 years now with both cameras in use it’s a great bit of kit.
@@GrecoISU_Golf Why not?
Thank you, I like it, but this product is not for me. My wife is right handed and I am a left handed!
Only one of them is for only one or the other. The other 2 can do both
@@GolfSimulatorVideos Thank you for the clarification.

They are opening up to 3rd parties, he mentions it in the video.
