- Happy G.I. Joe days folks! Did you know that it was G.I. Day? To my embarrassment I didn't, but thanks to the Hasbro Pulse and GI Joe Instagram pages I soon found out about it when they dropped these brand new GI Joe Classified render reveals to celebrate the day!
There's quite a bit here to take a look at - some we knew about, some were cheeky surprises, but ALL welcome.

I think everything looked pretty good. I’m probably most excited about the Retro figures, mostly Flint and Breaker the most, I’m also excited for the Awe Striker and Crankcase
Thanks for sharing billierenfro! I'm still a bit on the fence with Breaker, but we know my FOMO's gonna kick it and I won't have the patience to pick it up later LOL
I agree with you about the divers - I would have much rather have seen a Baroness in a dive suit, and swappable face plates for named characters. Between the Cobra Eel and the 50th anniversary diver figure, we already have great army builder options for divers. In regards to display options, I have my Torpedo on one of those Hasbro flight stands, and he looks incredible. You might want to give that a try, instead of just having him stand there in his big dorky flippers.
That's exactly it man - "in his big dorky flippers" made me LOL The underwater part of it is only one piece of the narrative there though, I also made a decision to cut a "style" out of the collection to save on budget too and the diver-y type folks were the ones I elected. (As well as Cobra Army builder variants like Python Patrol)
The launchers on the racks of the A.W.E. Striker are AT4 Anti-Tank Rocket launchers. They are shoulder launched

Do you think? I looked at it and that section on the bandolier looked like pouches when I zoomed in. That'll be great if it is though - I hope you're right!

Crankcase looks AWESOME. Lots of options. Awe striker will look better with pics from Shootingthegalaxy.
Breaker looks awesome. I love the Bubblegum. The OG version had a helmet headset that corded into the backpack. Maybe the cord is for that
Darklon looks great. Nice options.
Divers: they look good. Solid troop building set.
Covergirl: I dig both versions.
Flint: I’m sure I’ll get him at some point
Televiper. Love the head options.. I’ll probably pass
Slice & Dice: I have the KREO versions! 🤣🤣 I’ll get them! Lots of options.
Snake Armor… I dig it…. it’s more of a Joe Buster. Cobra got a hold of plans from Tony Stark. I’m not sure a guy can fit inside. Emily said a while ago… vehicles would come with figures to maximize open box play experience… but things change.. as Hasbro definitely is!!

Nice recall on Emily's previous comments there too - now you mention it I remember that being said too. So... does that mean this *isn't* considered a vehicle. Like you say: "Things change" - we'll see how they elaborate when it comes to some proper reveal time.

Happy GI Joe Day! The Renders Awaken. So I follow Full Force like so many. I’ve seen the leaks as many have. I was still blown away by the shared art. It’s basically art till we see the plastic. That goes for the leaks too. Some dude throwing together pics of unfinished items. All just big teases. Blown away Chris. This Chris is very excited! It’s so funny listening to you and I have similar reactions other than I’m buying everything. Two of AWE Strikers, SNAKE, and diver sets if I can. Basically I have two more years of collecting as I have. Then collecting changes. I’m going to enjoy. Well of course if I live that long. No guarantee for the spins around the Sun or finds available. Anyway. I’m excited. Several of the renders look much better than expected. I agree with Diagnostic 80 and the MASS are the new sub-line for Target and whomever offers it internationally. So it should be sufficiently polarizing in the community. They are all tweaked repaints with a bit of new extras like the Polar Bear and new head sculpts. I hope diver Baroness comes along as I want a female diver mold to exist. I’m also puzzled by hose for Breaker. 🤷♂️ Darklon looks awesome! I think his gun fits in the bandolier. The tongue head looks to be homage to the Destro head. They are crazy ass weaponizers. Looks cool, really cool. Love the Retros. Well love Flint and Cover Girl. Televiper I may get one at first. The blues won’t match but I think it will work for helmet swaps. I love the move roboticvisir that came with Trubble Bubble fig. The more purple color fits my Cobra Tech squad look. Man I love love love that SNAKE armor! I bought a 3rd party 1:12 scale armor that fits figs and closes with magnets. It’s great. Big imposing. I love it. It’s the original toy scaled up. This Classified one is Stark tech (run by Obadiah Stane) and Destro’s MARS collaborating to create a beefy Cobra battlefield monster! It’s soooo stinking cool looking! Oh it’ll be 9-10” tall and looks to either have a smaller drone inside or basic trooper in a ball. Cobra doesn’t care about comfort or safety. I don’t care if it can fit a fig. It probably does to tie to the original in design. But eh whatever. I want two of those mechs to flank my ground troops with air support from Trubble Bubbles. I almost bought the Grid Iron upgrade to the white version. No need now. Damn that thing is cool! The diver set is nice. I have torpedo and two 60th divers. I think two packs will round out that squad. It’s an absolute chore to get diving simulated shots but it’s fun. Granted. I secretly hoped for those loud obnoxious tube worms. I may be able to make some. I think this AWE Striker is as awesome as the 3 3/4” version and has cool upgrades. The gunner has a seat now. The rocket launchers and extra standing places. Pegs? Maybe? Lenny seemed to be against them in this scale. I think when more angles of this speedster come out it will impress more. Love it! Gonna get two. Hopefully. I didn’t have Ninja Force but Slice and Dice will lead my ninja factions if red Cobra ninja and Night Creepers. What a fun two pack! Anyway absolutely lovely day of just day dreaming about future Chris have adult man-child play time.
Hey prophet. How ya doing? Love the detailed rundown of your thoughts on these. I dip in & out of Full Force because I struggle sometimes to find the time to consume the lengthier bits of content he does - which is a shame because he does great stuff.
Sounds like you're all in on this stuff we've seen. You're probably right about the tongue head being some sort of representation of the Destro connection and the weaponeers history. That hose? Who knows? LOL
I'm sceptical on the Televiper too. It kinda sucks because I would have gone for this one over the trubble bubble tbh, but that's corporate sales strategy for you - they want me to pitch on both LOL

that A.W.E. Striker was a nice surprise and the Cobra Armour Chris! The Grid Iron Studios AWE Striker looks good aswell, shame they don't ship to the UK and also the Grid Iron Studios one will be expensive.
Yeah - I've always swooned a bit over the Gridiron stuff but just can't justify the price plus shipping, plus import tax. It's a shame because a lot of their stuff looks amazing!
Great video. For the head hair combinations you mentioned with Cover Girl… the hair pieces are most likely interchangeable between the heads, maybe? Kinda like with the Crimson Baroness.
Hi Nelson. Yeah - it's been confirmed. There's a guy called Jeremy Kimberlin (if you hang out on the FB group you'll know him) who has an early in-hand look at the fig which has confirmed the hair/hat swappable situation. I just shared his vid on my Community page here - check it out :)
That snake armor really caught my eye today. All that talks about Hasbro done making toys I don't think they're done with GI Joe yet I think they just found the right stride.
Yeah - I think we'll see the likes of GI Joe & Transformers keeping up the toys side of things for sure - great for us! :)
I'm all in for the S.N.A.K.E. armor. If those flame effects are reuse from Dreadnok Torch, then that indicates that this thing is gonna be massive! I don't believe this would fit a figure inside without limiting articulation. I saw in another video that it might be akin to the Cobra Flight Pod, in which case it might be really beefy in the torso and that the arms and legs tuck into it.
That would make sense - with like a little seating arrangement type thing going on. If that's the case then I think you're right - it's going to be beefy for sure! Wonder what the price tag will be...? 🤔
When it is all said and done, I'll probably get everything. I like the AWE Striker especially the gunner's seat and the mini gun in the passenger's seat. The snake is a pick up the price will decide if I get 1 or 2. I'm in for all the MASS Device stuff. I think the Darklon design is really good but the color choices leave much to be desired. If I get him, it will be an on sale pick up and I might repaint him. Slice and Dice look great but I'm not a ninja fan. That could be a sale pick up.
Interesting on the Darklon - would you have preferred a more vivid, brighter colour scheme like the OG, or something more muted? He lands about right for me.
I'd have thought it'd made more sense to give Cover Girl a toolkit rather than a sledge hammer, unless the hammer is for a bit of on the spot panelbeating
Yeah - I agree - but the sledgehammer is fun in a kinda "add it to the bits box" sort of way, pop it in anybody's hands for a piccie or display. Some folks have got excited by the sledgehammer because it could nod towards an impending Tollbooth...
Classified has become more polarized for me: some releases I'm hyped for (AWE, Breaker, Slice/Dice) and some are easy passes (Cover Girl, Divers, Retros). On the fence with the SNAKE... cool bulky design but it's kind of a throw away 'vehicle'. The AWE just looks fun with the 3 seats, open design, and all those accessories.
Yeah - I've been getting that sense from your recent comments on vids man. That's cool though - just cherry pick your way through I suppose and grab what does it for you. It's gotta sing to you for the money it is nowadays.

What is that Yellow Submarine display back there? It's so cool!
It looks like the Yellow Submarine from the Beatles animated film Yellow Submarine. In front looks like figures of the Beatles. Above it is the Beatles playing their instruments.
Hi guys. I'll give you the rundown...
At the front is the Lego Yellow Submarine set (Set no 21306) They're pretty tough to find nowadays as it's discontinued so let me know if you want me to take some closer up piccies or something for you to peek at.
At the back is the McFarlane Toys Animated Series stage set. I've had that for aaaaaaages (since I was much younger) so it's a bit beaten up and got parts missing n'stuff (Ringo's lost his cymbal 🙁) Again - let me know if you'd like to see some close up piccies and I'll do that no probs.
I don't think you can see them on screen well from my camera angle, but I've got a few McFarlane Yellow Submarine bits knocking about up there too.
The A.W.E. Striker looks fantastic...as does Crankcase but I don't collect the vehicles so they're a pass for me. I like Breaker, I'll likely pick him up, but like you he isn't an absolute MUST get this very second sort of figure for me. To my eyes Darklon is a hot mess and is an EASY pass for me...but to each their own. I'll be passing on the Diver 2-Pack. The retro card Cover Girl, Flint and Tele-Viper will all be mine...not only do I think they look great, but as I don't have their original versions I'm super happy to see these!
Even though I'm not a huge Ninjas in G.I. Joe fan, my brother and I had Slice & Dice back in the day, so I'll pick them up for sure...plus they do look really good in these renders....also I have to say I'm really digging the accessories! The SNAKE armor is pretty nice, but it's a pass for me.

The Retros are a strong swing and by the look of these comments we are not alone in our appreciation of them - folks are keen!

The Cobra diver weapon on the top is a reuse of one of guns from the first version of Gung ho.
The hair and cap are interchangeable ala lady jaye and shipwreck
