I've been listening to your sermons for a while now. Circumstances can make us feel better but that doesn't necessarily give us peace or joy. That only comes from Jesus Christ. Gambling certainly is not an option for the Christian. So how would one win the lottery unless they had gambled first? 😒 I've had a lot of setbacks in this last year. I've also had a lot of blessings. Sometimes when God takes away he is trying to grab our attention and draw us closer to him. He's teaching us character. Teaching us patience and trust and faith. These are not easy lessons but they are important for the Christian to learn over the span of our lifetime. This is a journey not a destination. God bless you and your church!
I love how you mentioned Frank Peretti. I read his two sequels about the town and the spiritual darkness many years ago. Then I watched his testimony and what he went through in his younger years.
