My favourite part about the league mechanic is that not a single person understood how to interact with it and just clicked randomly until something started happening.
Yeah, the UI design for the mechanic is potato quality. But I appreciate they give you the option to create your own difficulty. Just wish the mechanic wasn't utterly useless the second you get a weapon or shield that's "good enough". I hope they change it to drop normal loot on top of that.
So far, crucible trees have only made my weapons worse by adding a useless positive and a terrible negative, or i cant even do it because im using quill rain...
I got 30% global damage on the first node and 15% global damage 27% atk speed on the second node. Node 3 and 4 were kinda useless but nevertheless a really sick increase in dmg :D
I went TR ballista and it has been the fastest/smoothest levelling experience I’ve ever had. Sped up even more once I got a quill rain. One shotting everything in the acts and super speedy.
The ui is terrible, it has the betrayal problem squared where somebody thought it makes sense to stand still, we dont know how much we juice the item there should be a %indicator or metamorph fill bar, the circle we have to hold is unintuitive and the only interactable item in a big black box covering 1/4 of the screen, and theres probably something i forgot too. Still, I am excited to hammer my items
@@silvioantonio6952 it depends on whether its new mobs appearing or existing ones merging. Merging creates rares and gives a lot more juice. And it's always about the same time when mobs begin merging, about 1/3 of the bar.
@@peregrinefalconator Yea i had a few weapons early on that bricked my build or destroyed my dps. Early it doesn't matter but imagine late game getting a roll that brick an ultra rare unique or 6l.
@@patches_ You can.. If you have any. With league mechanic dropping almost literally nothing, I finished Act 10 with 1 whole scour and ~10 chance orbs. It's RNG, of course, but scours are not as common as those bricking passives are
Interesting, I logged in about 30 minutes after league start, not a single queue. Then I played for 30 minutes, went to bed and played all day yesterday without a single DC or lag spike (seems the fixed the issues with Amsterdam and some of the other servers that had the interdatacenter connectivity issues).
So far this league is a wash. The item trees are meh at best most of the time giving you build bricking options or a mixture. Of something marginally useful and terrible. Feels like the best way to interact with it is to just randomly reveal items and hope for the chaos/divine sell nodes. Idk maybe the bit of extra stuff that isn't just going to the altars drastically improves it, but thats a big maybe. Its somehow like scourge but worse. At least scourge gave tainted currency
Still hopeful for the usual week 1 patch. Some bubblegum on the spawned rares, an increase to geode rates, and less/no downsides on first node and it'll be at least worth running -toad
@Steelmage let's hope! Really want this league to be a good one, seems like a lot of people are unhappy with it, so hopefully GGG makes a spicy patch for us

Tbh it was quite obvious for me, just click and hold to charge, nothing complicated

13:00 exactly like that. I forged like 20 weapons none with a decent tree to combine with my one i guess lucky weapon i got in the start

The first perk in crucible being objectively bad feels horrible sometimes. They need to let you like see what it is first.

i am using a unique weapon. the entire league mechanic is worthless for me. this is a strange concept...
