Was in the record store this morning and was looking at a Turbonegro album, when the store owner asked if I heard Euroboys before, which I somehow haven't. He showed me a track and I fell in love. Needless to say, I now own the double white vinyl release. Listening to it now. So fuckin' good!
What an awesome album. I've had the double white vinyl sitting in my racks for years but not having a record player has led me to forget it. Thanks for the memories.
They changed their name for the second album, the first album is 'Jet Age' and the band was known as 'Kåre and the Cavemen'. Kåre Pedersen was the drummer who quit after this album was released as the others wanted to add lyrics and go comercial. Anyway first album is also great, less polished than this but bursting with energy and 70's surf sounds.
Bought this when it came out. Been listening ever since. One of the best guitar solos ever recorded is on RocknRoll Farmacia, but that song seems to be missing from the album, the track listing below is not correct.
