i decided to answer my own question,the last song in the setlist freedom is from sept 6,1970.

in the comments section there is a setlist that mentions freedom as the last song played . freedom was not written until june 1970. i have a flac download of this great show and freedom is not included. freedom was not released on an album until the cry of love album. does anyone know what concert this version of freedom is from? it has to be one of the 1970 shows.

Totally stumbled upon a vinyl copy of this a thrift shop today. Took a gamble on it and not disappointed. Amazing.

It's another band "Orange Colored Sky" with the following songs from tracks 12 to 16: Another Sky (1969 A-Side Single) with its following B-Side "Happiness Is". Then the 1969 single "Mr. Peacock" and its B-Side "Knowing How I Love You". And the last it's "Who Are You Foolin" the 1973 B-Side Single of Morning Light.

I used to visit the record store a couple of times a week when I was a teenager. I saw this album and for weeks wondered if I should buy it. I knew zero about the band, and hadn't heard any songs, but eventually the bizarre cover and my curiosity got the best of me. I only know one other guy I met in the 90's that also had this record. It's got some really good music on, but it's hard to categorize what kind of music it is. I still like it and now my kids are getting into my vinyl. It shouldn't be long until one of them picks it and says "What the hell is this?"

ahhh! 1968. i can almost remember it! i was playing in a band with my friends, but we never heard this group. good times indeed. we played beegees, beatles, hendrix, cream and harder rock. this stuff is nice, like the cowsills.

Thanks a million for this rarity, I"m a big fan of Jimi and I have never heard this Concert before.

In Sep of 1968, I turned 6, and started 1st grade.This album was not played on AM-1170 , KSTT, Davenport, Iowa, so I never knew about them. Please Consult Billboard for Chart activity. We had the top 40 hits of the week. Music buying was usually by 45 rpm records, as most people could not afford to buy the full albums.

I had a great part-time career working in a London radio station, I did off-hours, mainly doing advertising work, I was gifted with this "radio" voice (grew up during the golden era of listening to 93KHJ in Lost Angeles). The London station was quite popular & well-known radio station, they had/have this huge, extensive and exclusive library covering everything from the 50s forward (mostly digital). Besides the greatest experiences, the bragging-rights to say I worked in London radio, life-long mates - the best was my now full appreciation for 60s music. About 15 years ago, I tossed out everything popular apart from 62 to 71. That era provided and contains so much depth, from blues, R&B, soul, easy, folk, protest (Vietnam), pop, rock to hard rock - the era changed everything past & future in music. My library today is about 3,000+ albums, with a playlist I am continually updating (20+ years), all exclusively from this era. It is deep, poetic, pop-py, protesty, bluesy, soulful, and just sets my heart on fire each day I listen to it. Say what you will about groups like "Peppermint Trolly Co." but collectively they played a vital role in the greatest era of music. I'm an old fucker, I don't need much, this planet is dying out, our politicians are all c**ts and liars, above it, I found my life-soundtrack and a peace... besides "I saw The Beatles in concert", not many can claim that. *sigh*
