I think Reki should at first go floor by floor with details and events that happen there and then write up a good amount of each characters personality to help other writers know how they react in certain situations and who is involved in which events and write up boss material/spec/weapons used and when he finishes choose 300 writers with each attached to a certain floor doing their own version of it with a 3 year deadline excluding 5-10 floors above his own that he works on, and when the writers submit what they did Reki goes over them and either approves them completely or reworks/edits them to fit his standards or finally trash it and replace the writer with a new one so that Reki has only a few floors to focus on (enough to give us episodes to watch while the rest is being worked on by imprompto writers who need to time to learn/train themselves to figure out how to write it good)

Finally we will get more Kirito and Asuna moments after it got cut in Alicization anime ❤ Since this story focused about Kirito and Asuna, i'm sure they will do it justice unlike in Alicization.
I am happy about this since I hated the time skips and felt they could've done so much more with the Aincrad arc, but at the same time I wish it was gonna be focused on everyone as a whole since id love to see how different people react to the situation of being stuck in SAO and what they do with themselves in there.
To be honest, while i'm hyped for Sao: progressive, i'm more hyped to see what Sao Abridged will manage to do with all that shiny new animated content :P
My god this anime was SOOOOOO GOOOOOD!!!! But I hope they add another episode of Kirtio, Asuna and Alice meeting their old friends and what had happened when they were gone.
That would be me. 70 +. SAO opened my eyes to what storytelling can do today.: the story of Kirito; the story of Kayaba, SAO, and the Seed; the ultimate coming-of-age story, the Hero’s journey - the fight to grow beyond adolescence and become a real human being; and not at all least, the story of Kirito and Asuna, a story of love strong as steel and pure as gold. I may get to the point where I know the entire progression by heart, but I’ll never get *tired* of it. I’m excited for the Progressive; hopefully the GFX/animation upgrades won’t be too distracting or off-putting, but I hope they really minimize the Kirito crosstalk: I want to see (and hear) Asuna’s story; knowing what Kirito is up to at various points would link them together, but we’ve *seen* what happened to him. I want to see how she became who she is…*MORE* than I want K-based flashbacks throughout. It’s no shade on him to show us how we got the Asuna we all know and love and want to keep watching.
Yeah... i really like One Piece, the anime that has a 6 minutes opening + previous episodes flashback and then a 3~4 minutes ending, so every new episode is like 12 minutes long and on top of that many episodes are canon + filler at the same time, so even half of that 12 minutes is most of the times just filler. I literally don't want that to happen with SAO at all. Copy/paste scenes are awesome too every 2 minutes, like filler characters pushing the cage wall... that was so "awesome". I was totally not bored at all and i didn't wasted my life on nothing. The very first episode of One Piece was a mixed canon/filler episode, if that tells you nothing idk what. Milking the material was more important from the beginning than actually making it entertaining. Less episodes/year, better graphic and no filler in a canon episode is much more important than how many episodes are that no one watches anyway if they can skip fillers. I want quality over quantity. Making SAO longer without Kirito actually learning any new skills sounds extremely boring to me, the original first series didn't even really had any fights, while Underworld is full of crazy fight scenes. There is a Boss on every level, even if they manage to kill a Boss/episode would mean 100 episodes and i very much doubt killing a Boss would be so easy, while if its just going to be a romance cr*p i'm definitely a 100% out. The usual 10~12 episodes/year could work if they can manage to have real content. Still i fail to see how this is not going to last for at least a decade...
Lord Carl how far did you get in one piece? It doesn’t have the fastest pacing yeah but that doesn’t really matter and luffy and crew have learned plenty of new abilities and their isn’t endings anymore which sucks because I like having the two songs because two chances to be something I liked
@@dragoon9382 I watched almost all of it(One Piece), except the episodes that are only fillers, i really don't care about that and the later i was in the anime the more mixed filler/canon episodes came out and i obviously couldn't skip those, still in most mixed episodes nothing new is happening, no new skills being used. We know that fillers are usually needed when the anime has no more material to work with, but they still want it to be a weekly thing all year. Idk how much material SAO has, because i never read the manga, but the Aincrad story needs to be totally completed, so in theory... no filler is needed at all for a good anime to be made, i'm just worried that that's not going to be the case. I assume that Sword Art Online: Progressive is still something that is going on and that can mean fillers and prolonged episodes depending on when they start airing it and when they catch up with the manga and how many episodes they want to air/year. I didn't like Bleach fillers neither and they said the anime is going to be finished and as far as i know its completely abandoned now for years. I didn't even finished Naruto at all and i probably never will, i got very bored from it close to the end. Orochimaru was my favorite, there was just no reason for me to finish that and no i definitely don't want to start Boruto, that one looks like filler from the beginning until the end. :D As i said it above i like quality, not quantity.
@@f1erce456 at the end of the 18th light novel it says "All stories have just been told. The tale ends here. However, the battles of Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, and the others will continue from now on. Whereby they shall gather once more, sword in hand, on what will be known as the greatest and final battlefield, the [Inter-Intelligence War]. Kirito will return.
@@finnagame4135 that was extremely confusing, im not someone who watches a ton of anime, i grew up with Dragon ball Z, then Kai, then GT, then super, and ive also watched a fair bit of attack on titan, but i have never seen an ending as bad as the last available episode of SAO, it was just a cut off, like they showed all the things happening inside the Ocean turtle, showed them cutting the or, showed kirito big told to take alice to the alter, then that was it, a flash of light and our favorite characters are gone for several years until they may possibly pick the story back up, im just confused
What i think after seeing SAO Progressive teaser? More Kirito and Asuna 😍 After watching last episode of Alicization there are little teaser at the end about SAO Progressive, they will make SAO Progressive into anime 😮 For those who don't know, SAO Progressive is part of SAO Light Novel, this is story that explained about what happens in Aincrad more detailed or i can say this is back story of SAO Season 1, part of Season 1 that got cut. This story more focused about Kirito and Asuna relationship, about how their relationship was formed and they become couple. Final episode of Alicization didn't make me sad, it makes me more hyped for another SAO story. I can't wait for SAO Progressive anime ❤
@@actionvids35 That's right, part of when Kirito showed up with Black Coat and it says "Kirito will return" it clearly tell about Unital Ring since it has same images from light novel. Also since Unital Ring arc is not finished yet, they do SAO Progressive first.
Exactly my hope. They have some real opportunities esp. if they do a good job of expanding upon some of Reki's older Aincrad stories and expanding on them. The teaser scene suggests an episode where Asuna decides to enter SAO. There are some references to experiences that Kirito had during the beta which could be turned into an episode or two. And there's the short story where another former beta player tried to MPK Kirito on the second day (well, later that night on the first day), which gets referenced several times in the Progressive novels. They have plenty of source material already for two seasons.
In progressive we finally get a story, not just mindless fighting to the top. We get to see, feel and cry with everyone. We have people who are a threat to the character’s. We finally see progress
My new fave channel talking about my fave anime, I cant wait to see more of asuna and kirito and theyre love story. i feel like thats been left out for some odd reason, also i wanna know what they did for 200 years inside the machine.
That is what I want know and see the most from this series. It just kills me knowing that they spent 200 years together and we csnt find out what happened.
I loved that the second episode was still on the first floor, and was so excited to have a series that might not only have character progression, but also numeric power progression. Consequently, I was quite disappointed when the third one was already in the teens, and it's great to hear that I might have a chance to enjoy the show in the way I originally expected to. For a while, anyway. We need an anime version of Tom Clancy that makes super procedural and grounded game-type adaptations. I'd be super into that, at least, and I'm sure I'm not alone.
I have been saying for years that the original needed to be 100+ episodes rather than 14. I never even dreamed this would happen, this makes me so happy.
I feel pathetic, but when I clicked this video and realized that it's a brand new season that will take ages and it's solely based on the first arc of sao and not the boring second arc AND it's based off of Kirito and Asuna I cried tears of joy
In my opinion Season 1 was great but ended really fast, so this Sao Progressive looks promising, season 2 was alright but the way it ended was a bit in a rush, it left me kinda looking forward for season 3, but oh boy was i wrong, the first 25 min was like a different anime the last 20 min were alright but then Kirito gets hit with that "medical gun" and then he is in "another world" and they just cut off the Kirito & Asuna storyline, thank god for youtube channels that resume the whole seasons, saved me some hours. Lets hope this Sao Progressive is amazing :)
I mean yeah some things in season 3 felt alien to what the SAO was. But after 2 episodes it got back on its feet and it hit really interesting. The dynamic with Eugio and Kirito was amazing and how all of that transfers to season 4 part 1 and part 2

I read 5 of the progressive books already there really good. And it would take around 17.5 years for all of the progressive books too come out, if it is to the 70th floor.(that's only if he makes two books a year.) If he does only one book a year it will take around 35 years. P.s(Kirito get's actually stuck in SAO in 2022 so we are almost to their timeline. The beta was in 2021). And that's two to three floors per light novel.
You'd think they would be at floor six(I left off on LN4 i think), and I think they took 2 novels to pass one floor for story reasons or something else, can't remember it's been 3 years.

@@shivanshsinha6032 Alicization was my favorite arc as well. Explains the time dilation in Accel World as well.
Kazuto Yuuki they did alicization justice imo. Sure they skipped stuff but that’s normal in a light novel anime.
Is Alicization any good tho?
Dackster Mendez yessss
I am happy about this since I hated the time skips and felt they could've done so much more with the Aincrad arc, but at the same time I wish it was gonna be focused on everyone as a whole since id love to see how different people react to the situation of being stuck in SAO and what they do with themselves in there.
To be honest, while i'm hyped for Sao: progressive, i'm more hyped to see what Sao Abridged will manage to do with all that shiny new animated content :P
So true. Although if they do this right, this series will be more popular then the abridged version.

I NEED IT RIGHT NOW PLS
Imagine still watching SAO when you are around 70 already. That might be a new technology of watching anime.
Imagine if we have the same technology when the anime comes out. I'll know to wait a year or 2😓
I hope this time they doing EVERYTHING and not skip most of everything
Douglas Rivas of course they are, SAO Progressive isn’t called “progressive” for no reason
Well, we could get 6-8 Episodes per volume if they adapt it 1:1.
In other words have A1 Pictures take the One Piece Route.
Never ending.
Ya that’s fine one piece is good and so is sao
Yeah... i really like One Piece, the anime that has a 6 minutes opening + previous episodes flashback and then a 3~4 minutes ending, so every new episode is like 12 minutes long and on top of that many episodes are canon + filler at the same time, so even half of that 12 minutes is most of the times just filler.
Lord Carl filler wise every anime has it longer anime just happen to have more like bleach it was good but had a lot of filler naruto also
@@dragoon9382 I watched almost all of it(One Piece), except the episodes that are only fillers, i really don't care about that and the later i was in the anime the more mixed filler/canon episodes came out and i obviously couldn't skip those, still in most mixed episodes nothing new is happening, no new skills being used.

What i think after seeing SAO Progressive teaser? More Kirito and Asuna 😍
After watching last episode of Alicization there are little teaser at the end about SAO Progressive, they will make SAO Progressive into anime 😮
For those who don't know, SAO Progressive is part of SAO Light Novel, this is story that explained about what happens in Aincrad more detailed or i can say this is back story of SAO Season 1, part of Season 1 that got cut.
This story more focused about Kirito and Asuna relationship, about how their relationship was formed and they become couple.
Final episode of Alicization didn't make me sad, it makes me more hyped for another SAO story. I can't wait for SAO Progressive anime ❤
I though the final image of Kirito was tease for Unital Ring since the image it self was taken from Untial Ring light novel.
@@actionvids35 That's right, part of when Kirito showed up with Black Coat and it says "Kirito will return" it clearly tell about Unital Ring since it has same images from light novel. Also since Unital Ring arc is not finished yet, they do SAO Progressive first.

it would be pretty sick if SAO was rebooted and was cool as shit
Ooh yeaaah
Exactly my hope. They have some real opportunities esp. if they do a good job of expanding upon some of Reki's older Aincrad stories and expanding on them. The teaser scene suggests an episode where Asuna decides to enter SAO. There are some references to experiences that Kirito had during the beta which could be turned into an episode or two. And there's the short story where another former beta player tried to MPK Kirito on the second day (well, later that night on the first day), which gets referenced several times in the Progressive novels. They have plenty of source material already for two seasons.
Yeah and for the sake of Asuna please progressive get it right
In progressive we finally get a story, not just mindless fighting to the top.
Imagine between the trailer-

Bro the fights! The fights.... Are gonna make me get so many goosebumps. I'm gonna cry of the nostalgia

FINALLY. MY FAVORITE PART OF SAO!
