Well done on your build i ride a 2020 te300i as well. I have been looking at setting mine up for snow as well. Thanks a bunch for sharing all this very much needed information. Have fun ride hard
Sweet setup! All those mods make perfect sense. I live in Colorado and ride an '18 300 XC, don't have a snow bike though. Rented a 450 SX snow bike for a day up in the Vail area. The rental had the heated bars, they are a treat indeed! We were riding at 11K elevation, so that poor 450 got revved and worked pretty hard due to the thin air, plus the powder was insane up there, it was chest deep in places. Had to stay on the gas and keep moving in those deep powder areas, if ya tipped over it would be very hard to get back on the bike. We also rode some packed narrower trails where only snow bikes can go, and more packed down areas where the snowmobiles go. Clearly snow bikes like the more ungroomed stuff. We also rented a Polaris 800 powder sled. Even at those 11K elevations that two stroke twin had a stupid amount of ski lifting power - I can't imagine how fast it would be at lower elevations. It was a pretty amazing day. For extreme elevation the sleds are hard to beat due to their sheer excess reserves of power, but I imagine a snow bike would be awesome at something less than 11K elevation, and a snappy two stroke snow bike would be extra cool. At 11K and in that deep powder, I rode that poor 450 like the rental it was, glad that engine wasn't something I own 😆

Where did you get the gas can mount for the LC tank?
It's a Timbersled accessory. Came with the kit I brought. I do know LC makes a mount kit but it's not as fancy as the one I have currently
