My guess would be that normally the Gojo clan takes a backseat and let’s whomever has the Six Eyes+Limitless do whatever they desire politically (Gojo saving Yuta and Yuji for example) even if they disagree, and once Gojo is sealed (or there is no Six Eyes+Limitless user) they function like the other two major clans.
yeah that looks to be the case. i mean we never see any of them come talk to gojo in face or over the phone. so they not really a close knit or normal family. probably the more laid back one until their precious six eye + limitless user dies then they have to get off their asses so they don't loose power or revelence in the politics

@@tmerchead1 yeah, but at the same time for lore sense it doesn't make sense that Gojo could have so much political power without a clan. I get that he is strong, but fighting capability isn't really the end all factor in politics. Geto and Yuki, both special grades didn't even have comparable political standing when they were alive.

You don't see that being the case with Yuki or Geto.
I'd kill for another JJK story where its set during Gojo and Getos first year, have it be mostly sort of slice of life fun but also can go into more of the worldbuilding with the clans and what not.
I think that the Gojo clan is a sort of "one trick" type of clan. What I mean by that is that they're dependent on the occasional six eyes limitless user that pops up and don't have other hereditary techniques. Them being one of the 3 major clans is probably due to the six eyes limtless user, while exceedingly rare, usually being the most powerful sorcerer of his era, and so he can solve a lot of problems and bring out a sort of golden age for the jujutsu society to thrive in. Furthermore, the family has close ties with Tengen, who probably holds a lot of political power and could boost the ranking of the clan greatly.
In short - I feel like the Gojo clan is mostly non-present in the sorcerer department throughout the ages, only holding power because of their close ties with Tengen and the promise of a limitless six eyes user bringing about a time of peace and prosperity.
I think that having only limitless or six eyes is strong enough by its own, so even if they don't a have limitless six eyes user all the time they are nothing to scoff at if they don't have it.
The limitless technique can only be used by a six eyes users, but six eyes users are born every generation after the previous wielder passes. Inheriting both six eyes and limitless is incredibly rare. The gojo clan is always o.p though, because even without limitless the six eyes offers infinite cursed energy.
@@stuckinstuff1814 its the other way around. Limitless is the inherited technique and Six Eyes is a rare innate gift. There will always be a Limitless user but the Six Eyes only appears after hundreds of years. It was mention that Limitless users without the Six Eyes existed but they weren’t very strong because Limitless uses a lot of CE.

@@anonomit8229 yeah i mixed up the lore a little bit because kenjaku has been defeated by six eyes users twice and then assassinated another after they were born, which just resulted in a new six eyes wielder being born immediately afterwards. Long story short limitless isn't rare in the gojo clan but six eyes are and pops up around the same time a star plasma vessel does as needed.

I'd imagine it would function like a rudimentary telekinesis. With the user unable to see the "limitless" potential, it would probably not go much further than just floatng some things.
No. From hints given in the manga it will still be more than that. From certain Gojo’s statements you can infer that members of his clan who have had limitless have the ability to use red , and also blue. They will also have Gojo’s ability of infinity, but they will lose curse energy quickly and massively whenever they use it. So they can only use it in short bursts, they won’t be able to keep it active for even several minutes. So they will use it to block certain attacks when very necessary but feel very drained of cursed energy after every single use.
Remember limitless is a rare powerful technique as well on its own. So it’s not just some weak ass floaty telekinesis. The main difference the six eyes adds to the limitless is to make the curse energy usage efficient. So that the limitless user can be able to spam it. Someone with a huge ass reserve if cursed energy and a natural efficiency in CE usage will use limitless at a good level. Not Gojo level but at a good level to make them far above normal sorcerers.

That makes sense. Especially since even Gojo with the six eyes was struggling so much with it before discovering RCT. I can't imagine a Limitless user without the six eyes using anything more than simple applications of Limitless.
I think this kind of got confirmed in 250. Well, at least it's enough evidence for me.

I kinda feel like apart from the zenin clan, the world building surrounding the 3 clans has always been weak, the only one that has active story significance is the zenin clan. Plus kenjaku being a member of the kamo clan literally did not matter at all, and gave the clan 0 further role in the story, and noritoshi literally just left the story. I think it was a sign that gege may have had plans to expand on this, and perhaps even do a sort of jujutsu society civil war arc, but realized that it didn't fit with the rest of the narrative and just kinda decided to not do much with them and massacre the zenin clan to write them out of the story too. All in all it's a disappointing aspect of the story for me, but i get why they don't play a bigger role.
I really wanna see a Gojo clan member with just the Limitless and not the 6-eyes, maybe like an old ass man whose "Mastered" it as much as possible, so we can really see how much more powerful having the 6-eyes makes it.
As far as i understand, 6-eyes just optimizes the limitless, but you can be really fucking strong without, especially if you have a lot of cursed energy.
it'd be just a guy with blue, right? Like Sukuna even said that infinity is only possible because of the six eyes. and probably wouldn't have rct either, so i think it'd just be "man with blue" lol, which is still incredibly strong, but not godlike or anything like Gojo.
@@thekamotodragon I mean they could totally have RCT which would allow access to Red and even Purple, tho for Purple just using it once would prob immediately take them out the fight where as Gojo can practically spam it, as for Infinity yeah they'd prob not be able to do it at all, or if they can do it it'd be like "I can have it up for a handful of seconds" at absolute best and they'd need absolute concentration to do it so only useful if the enemy is about to use a big obvious attack that they're charging up, and probably wouldn't be able to teleport or float like Gojo can.

Infinity is neutral limitless
Blue is just limitless with max output
Red is a blue fueled by rct
Maybe the only limitless user won't be able to perform both of them multiple times a day and constantly put on Infinity like gojo
But still having only infinity is an op cheat
A handful of people have domain and other than maharaga no one can bypass it so having Infinity alone make you one the strongest characters in jjk

Personally, i always assume that besides Satoru Gojo, the rest of the family sorceres weren't that strong. We've seen with both Kamo and Zenin clan that not all of their clan member are op top tier fighters some were even regular normal human.
And personally the reason why Gojo clan still regarded highly in Jujutsu Society is most likely due to tradition and because there're no other clans that practiced Jujutsu Sorcery as much as those 3
And it's because the top 3 clans refused to tell all the humans in the world about curses too. They kept it all to themselves. Japan going into war with curses and people dying left and right? who cares? gojo being sealed away and not getting help is far more important. Imagine how many people live normal lives or die tragically from curses or other kinds of accidents like murder and never knowing the potential they could have inside because they are simply just not told the truth and its kept hidden from them. That's millions or billions of people who are all different and have different strengths and weaknesses
In my head the fact that we never see another member pf the gojo clan is another wag the story emphasizes how much of that weight is actually on gojo satoru.

They probably make sure the information and records stay safe and pass them down to the next generation. They might prefer being in the shadows because of the significance of the clan.

The biggest frustration I have is that Gege is taking big swings with the status quo of his world but we aren’t sure any of it will matter toward the story. Kenjaku’s big plan might be a Tengen kaiju but he also revealed curses to other nations and crippled the Kamo clan to become its leader. Maki has basically destroyed the Zen’in clan. Gojo’s death puts his clan’s power into question. The big three don’t seem like political giants anymore and foreign governments are securing sorcerers to fight curses and maybe each other. It all makes JJK into a prologue for something like what happened in MHA when quirks were introduced or how contractors were used by governments in Darker than Black.
Well when Toji went to see young Gojo, Gojo was with someone who’s definitely a member of the clan… so that kinda proves that there are others

While it isn't confirmed they are a Gojo clan member, in season 2, Toji has a flashback about when he went to see the brat with the six eyes and limitless. Gojo detects him and Toji talks about that being the only time he's been noticed when trying to stay hidden. During this scene Gojo is with a person with black hair, presumably escorting him to keep him safe, this is likely another Gojo clan member, though it isn't confirmed.

though the gojo clan is usually inactive unless gojo himself does something, their are other members of the gojo clan, after gojo got sealed the gojo clan vouched for the removal of the zenin clan from the 3 big clans. i think the reason the gojo clan is called a one man team of gojo himself is sort of the same logic of being in a squads team thats carried by a single player.

To be fair, we saw like, only 4 members of Kamo clan:
Kenjaku (Norotoshi Kamo)
Norotoshi Kamo (student)
Norotoshi's father (Previous head of clan)
And that old dude, from Kamo's clan.
The main focus was on the Zenin clan, and because of the current state in the manga, I doubt we will see anything of Kamo or Gojo clans, at least while there's a fight with Sukuna.
Maybe if our MCs will win, then we will get some information about those clans.
What amazes me is how the kamo clan which has so little relevance to the plot that i wonder why gege made it a bi clan in I e first place has gotten more members introduced than the gojo clan which has more relevach is one of the most relevant plot points in the story
@@coolguy2058 if I remember correctly, it's because there was needed a clan, that connected to government, more that Zenin or Gojo, just because these clans kinda fighting with each other, and Kamo clan is just a third side.

They all died off because of incest. Like the Hyugas (acception being hinata), they try to stay pure-blooded. The only acception being Tsunade, who is 1/4 Uzumaki because Hashirama's wife was an Uzumaki host for Kurama.

The naruto clan is the most mysterious and the mc is a member of it. All we got was kushina's story and got told it got destroyed because people were scared of them for their powers. Don't get me wrong i really like kushina and her story its just in this context its like, is this all we got? Just a huge missed opportunity it and instead 99% of the time/show was all about the uchiha clan and sasuke sob revenge story with his brother itachi carrying it
i too feel end of shibuya district arc/ beginning of culling games gave the perfect reason to introduce a light novel that focuses on heian era , some backstory on how the clans , jujutsu society evolved etc heck even introducing some of the reincarnated sorcerers past life. It could have been a nice transition also give such some more in-depth insight of the jujutsu world

Gege is probably gonna use JJK world in a future series someday and maybe doesn't want to exhaust all of the mystique (thats just my hunch though, could be all copium but I would like Heian era JJK series)
Another "gripe" bugging me is current Yuji. Gege STILL has not explained whats going on with his arms, he only slightly revealed the blood manip but only officially revealed it this chapter, and that shit with his "soul punching" and the idea of him having some sort of soul swap because of that one kusakabe panel (though if the soul swap was true then realistically he should've done it with megumi by now). Point is there's still A LOT left unexplained with Yuji, especially when sukuna referred to him as "that boy from that time"
Would be cool if Gege at least releases some novels that contain a lot of the world he just didn't include in the main series.
Naruto's mangaka did it and they are fun to read. The bungo stray dogs light novels are a treat too

I think the other Gojo's never showing up on screen might be a thematic thing. Like Gojo is so powerful that he represents the entire clans influence by himself. Also plays into his isolation

A question that has nothing to do with this video, if Yuta copies a technique that can make copies of him, like the one dude that fought Young gojo, could the copies use different techniques at the same time?
My guess is that because the Gojo clan has the genetic trait that leads to six eyes and infinity they hide and selectively breed in secrecy to secure they have the next chosen one (over and over again), given that it is literally the most powerfull birthright after kenjakussy and whatever gave birth to sukuna (if he was born two faced 4 armed that is)
I feel like the gojo clan is jusy whenever a six eyes user is born to protect the next star vessel

My head cannon: Satorou holds supreme authority in the Gojo clans much to the annoyance and spite of the clan elders. He is the six eyes and limitless user so he is the clan leader by birthright. But the elders have their own values and desires ad try to manipulate Satorou into becoming a puppet leader. But after Rika's death and learning RCT, Satorou realizes that he doesn't have to listen to the elders. He doesn't even need their support to have that much political power. So he uses this to put them in their places. I just picture the elders going " That bastard Satorou" every time he makes a decision or speaks on their behave without really consulting them.
I think the Gojo family just stay in hiding if there is a current six-eyed user because they don't wanna killed off before they can make another user of both six-eyes

Considering the sealing of Gojo and how the other big three families are portrayed, I'm shocked the Gojo clan didn't try to claim Yuta. I guess then Kenny's plan with the Kamo clan wouldn't have worked 🤷
This is one of many questions that gege refuses to ever answer.
I think because gojo clan also exist in real life. they are famous for organized sumo tournament and the clan leader fight in the boshin war. so gege might have some legal trouble with current gojo clan if they are still exist.
I really want to see the rest of the kamo clan as well, blood manipulation seems too weak compared to the zen'in ten shadows and projection sorcery. And the Gojo clan's six eyes and limitless.
I can see why, just as Gojo said, you either have great talent to become a Sorc, or not. Therefore the only people who get screentime are characters capable of driving forward the narrative in some form or other, and aside from Gojo? Most of them can't. Major spoilers alone.
Although the Zenin clan have a *lot* of Sorc, most of them are of fairly middling quality, with only Megami, Maki, Toji, the Patriarch, and one other yet to be seen. This is actually a lot (5 is far more representation than most clans get), but most of them are simply killed by Maki despite being wounded and heavily outnumbered. Even the last man described isn't a match for Maki despite being her being completely exhausted by the time she encountered him. Two of the five described are also misfits by their standards who never got to achieve their full potential within the clan, so really only the Patriarch and one other member was providing most of their clout as Grade 1's, it really did seem everyone else wasn't really on their level.
Kenjaku also kills the Kamo clan completely offscreen. As seen when the guy pictured attempted to get support from them Kenjaku had already effectively become their leader. So they arguably get even less representation as we literally only have one member that we see act, and even he is completely outdone by Chosmo.
Theory: mei mei and kashimo could probaly be a part of the gojo clan
Jujutsu kaisen will go through such a "this manga/Anime was bad actually" solely because it's very obvious that Gege wants to speedrun and end the series after the shibuya arc and doesn't know what to do with all the potential the series has.

thats the problem with gege, there is so much lore to be explored in jjk yet gege probably doesnt care and will never dive into them.. at least make some light novels, fan books etc if its too much work to fit most of the jjk lore into the anime

One thing about Gege is that he genuinely doesn't care. Like genuinely. He just wants characters to fight and people to debate and that's it! He will NEVER give you more. That Heian flashback is probably not gonna happen.

Gege is a lackluster writer man. He should get some people to work on the series that actually know how to write
Gege is moving the manga at a breakneck pace. I feel like we should have gotten a lot more focus on the clan politics in general.
Well the manga came out two years before the anime and who knows how long gege thought of this all before and while doing the manga. So you can't say the manga is going at a breakneck pace because its already been established and put out years ago. The mangaka's can't just show up with their manga all done and demand an anime of it gets done asap. There will be other people looking and proof reading the manga and translating it before it gets released and also giving feedback as to whether it looks good or could be better. It only feels like its going at a breakneck pace because you have the internet at your beck and call 24/7. 15+ years ago you had to wait a week or two to get the next episode to watch on tv, we didn't have it on demand on things like crunchyroll back then

For example the manga completely glosses over the time between Gojo being released and his scheduled fight with Sukuna. Gojo never over the course of three manga has a single one on one scene with Nobara. We know nothing else about the Gojo clan in general and so forth. That has nothing to do with how old the manga itself is or how frequently it is published.
The six eyes in the gojo clan is probably a bindvow they did. Sacrificing all the other clan member's cursed energy or something like that. Thsts why gege made it so gojo satoru is am one man team.
