Great installation Steve, I may expand my system and use some of your ideas. I'm using KD9SV's hardware reversible BOGs and RBOGs which simplifies installation and gives you instant 180 degree switching and with two identical perpendicular arrays gives me 4-quadrant coverage. Where did you get the large toroid's for the beverages to cut down the common mode noise? You used galvanized steel or aluminum electric fence wire. Wouldn't field phone wire be better (and especially if you are doing bi-directional beverages). That is what I plan to used for my KD9SV bi-directional beverage to the NE/SW. Terry, KI7M
The large type 31 clamp-on torroids are available from many sources. I find the best prices from Mouser: Here is a link: www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Fair-Rite/0431177081?qs=%2Fha2pyFadugw4R90tf7msQhhTrGQdRhPQL14yBHFnEWpZGAPUnYFDw%3D%3D I have used field telephone wire. It is not really mechanically strong enough to survive falling trees in my situation. For a reversible system the wire will work, but I found the return loss back from the reflection transformer along the wire to be pretty high.
This is the best example I've seen how to do this. Thank you for showing it.
You're one dedicated guy, cheers, 73's de ON8EI John.
I have read other Beverage users don't like to use the Galvanized due to its inherent resistance. Apparently it works well enough for you.
I dont have room for a beverage, but excellent video. These kinds of videos are great, and you’re a great elmer! 73 de Jeff, KF5KWO
Love your videos, your place is amazing.

have you got pdf documnet for this subject ?
Steve how would you load a bridge span wire that’s grounded at a few spots?
What I'd add to your kit is a tool belt, to carry the bits and pieces.
Thanks for this
