Thanks for making this! First timer here and this video gives me an extra degree of comfort. As you said, preparation is key-your talk here really contributes to a much better feel for the day. I am much better prepared having watched.
As usual, you have done a great job with your race review John. I've listened to these in the past and always feel relaxed in my mind about what I'm about to do. 😁
Are you able to be hired as a coach via somewhere? Doing the 2025 Waco 70.3 and want to do the training, nutrition, preparation right. My son and I are doing this together.
I think the bike course changed slightly. In this video, the picture of the route shows a short out and back segment right at mile 50. On the IM website, that little segment is not there.

Thanks John. Great and extensive review for the race!! I have shared it with several friends.

Super glad I found this video! Great helpful tips. Makes me sad though after getting acclimated to my wetsuit over the last week that I won’t need it

This is great! Wished I found this before the race. 😂
Thank you so much! Do you have the bike course on strava?
Anyone have a read/prediction on 2024 water temp?

Normally is it very windy on the bike course ?
expect 12 mph out of the NNE
Thank you! Do you know if anything has changed for 2024?
