La Borriquita. Palm Sunday Holy Week procession Seville 2024

Procession leaving Iglesia Colegial del Divino Salvador. This is one of the first procession of Semana Santa. There is half an hour between the appearance of the Guiding Cross and the float (pasos). Altogether it took about 40 minutes for the procession of penitents to pass us. The processions for later in the day were cancelled due to rain so we feel fortunate to have experienced this. It was surprisingly emotional.
