I went out for my first overnight trip on Tuesday for a 1.5 day. We head out Tuesday night and I wake up to hear people awake and the captain saying that he sees some kelp to slide up on.
At about 7 we put sardines in the water and the dolphin start hitting. 33 anglers and everyone had 1-3 mahi. All of the sudden the mahi stop, and one by one we all start getting hit by yellowfin. It was absolute madness. We sat there for 8hrs just hooking up, I ended up with a dolphin and 3 tuna. One guy on board hauled in 23 with a jig stick, dude was a monster.

In their minds its only a couple of fish... which adds up to a lot of fish as they have the standard mindset.. aka not preserving or caring about future stocks, or even giving respect to the fish they are so stoked about.. all about the content and grabbing a photo with these guys
