The Nan Lian Garden is a Chinese Classical Garden in Diamond Hill, Hong Kong near Diamond Hill station. The garden has an area of 3.5 hectares. It is designed in the Tang Dynasty-style with hills, water features, trees, rocks and wooden structures.
The Nan Lian Garden is a beautiful and serene space literally in the middle of the concrete jungle of Hong Kong. Not precisely around the corner but easily accesible with the MTR, the Diamond Hill station is a five-minute walk from the gardens.
Most people come for the striking and quite photogenic Chinese pavillion with the surrounding pond and brightly contrasting red bridge, stunning on its own right, but do take time to admire the many other features you will find in this little breath of fresh air.
HOW TO GET THERE?👇👇👇
From Diamond Hill(EXIT C). Is about 5 minutes walk from exit C(Plaza Hollywood) at 60 Fung Tak Road (under flyover). There are tourist direction signs from the station exit.
Bus routes 11,74X,75X,82X,82P,84M,85C,85M,91,91M,92,286M to Diamond Hill Public Transport Interchange (under Diamond Hill MTR Station). Bus routes 3B,10,11C,74X,91,92 stop near garden entrance on Fung Tak Road.
The garden can also be accessed directly from adjacent Chi Lin Nunnery by pedestrian footbridge over Fung Tak Road.
