- again i have had to edit this because of the beatles material put in (a major no-go area for youtube...)...these shows were owned by dave clark enterprises and he allowed channel four (u.k.) to broad cast some in the early hours of the morning...lucky for me i got most of them and here again i have uploaded what was broadcast of a show that contained stuff from 20th nov '64/11th dec.'64 and then 22nd may '66.....dave clark was terrible for doing this so not many 'complete' shows were actually shown!...this has a beautiful cathy mcgowan intro....
Ah some of Van Morrison's best tracks was while he was lead singer with Them. I shall never forget 'Gloria'.. My mates and I sat around the record player with amazement.
Look at Van Morrison singing "Baby Please Don't Go".... Had no idea he was in a group called Them.
Duh
I found out at 15 ... in 1981? Still surprised 😅Baby please don't go! Great 🎸 stuff Ireland 🇮🇪
Jimmy Page played guitar in recording session.
speeding off his chops by the look of it...
Priceless! This was the most important tv show in the 60s, until TOTP took over.
Under My Thumb was on the Stone’s best ever album (apart from compilation albums of their many hits):
AFTERMATH, 1966.
Absolutely correct. The Euro-version is the best... includes the classic "Out of Time."
Nicest version of Under my thumb at 11:50!
The northern soul version is also a good one .
Lulu.....Glasgow's finest.
I was on here 1964
great memories for sure!
Времена, когда ещё не успели создать фанеру. Было только живое исполнение, как могли, так и исполняли.
