  • Hannah Eubanks, 24, shows us a stunning succulent reef she created in a former koi pond, for a client in Vista, CA.
The youngest daughter of celebrity landscaper Laura Eubanks, Hannah expedited the project start-to-finish. "My mom was totally hand's-off," she says proudly. Naturally we're all wondering if the lovely, hard-working Hannah will launch out on her own, and if so, how Laura will manage without her. "I think about that a lot," Hannah admits...

Hannah, what a fabulous job you've done. I agree with Debra's insight that your rock designs make it feel like the viewer has the vantage point of a little goldfish swimming in the reef! So well done.

Well done Hannah. Lovely and gracious of you DLB to mentor and promote other designers and helping us DIY-ers. My mother was a tremendous mentor to me as well. Our moms give us wings but it's up to us to use them to fly. You are soaring! Yay mom! Yay daughter! I agree with Laura; there is plenty of business to go around when the work is of such quality.

I’m a followed of Laura Eubank’s RUclips channel so have been following Hannah’s progress on her first solo design project. She definitely has her own sense of design and had created a beautifully, magical coral reef design! Hate to say it but I think she out did her mother on this one!! Look forward to more of Hannah’s design work.

Hannah did a phenomenal job on Susan’s coral 🪸 reef 🐠 installation. The way she placed the lava boulders, the intricate intentional way she created dramatic “cliffs” and “valleys” within the design really sets it apart with beautiful succulents and cacti. The variety of top dressing was on point and I love how Susan’s mementos were utilized throughout as finishing touches on the garden. Thank you for taking the time to video this magnificent installation 💗.
